Os Giken Super Single (sr)

hey everyone i just purchased a used clutch. got the rebuild kit for it. now im just curious what Throw Out Bearing that is required for the OS Giken super single clutch for the s13 SR20det.

i dont want to ghetto rig it, shits gotta be done right.
just curious is everyone has ever used it, opinions overall and which TOB to use?

cuz the OS Giken uses a longer collar and the bearing is differnt

I have a twin plate so I know

I posted a pic of the difference between OEM and The OS Giken one in another thread

Yep, with most plate clutches like that, you need the manufacturer's TOB. I have an ORC Single, and it uses the ORC bearing, and it's quite different from the OEM one.

well it more than likely thinner

regardless OEM will not work properly for the OSGiken
I did an Install on a twin plate using the OEM Collar but Used the OS Giken Bearing, The clutch did not disengage completely even with ajusting the MC rod, becuase the collar was differnt

so with a Single more than likely it wont disengage at all

You have to use the OS Giken Bearing the contact point for the Pressure plate smaller
So if you use a OEM bearing you will more than like break the PP Fingers or the collar

TOB is usually thinner on the single plates. Twins, you replace the carrier too...

Need clarification:

I have a Cusco Super single (OS giken? Same thing?)

Need the throw out bearing for it.
