Technical difficulties after swap
My friend and I swapped an S13 redtop SR into an S13 coupe. Motor ran fine when it was in the car it came from. It has BC 264's, 555cc's, Z32 maf, front mount, S15 BB Turbo, knockoff greddy intake manifold, and the tuned ECU. Well after the swap, it started right up. It seems to idle a little high, ~1400. So when we took it for a drive, when it started to hit boost at about 3000-3500, it stutters and wont boost anymore. It's not like a bog it feels like fuel cut almost. So we checked the fuel pressure, it was set perfect. Reading 20 vacuum. Was maybe thinking maf or tps. The harness that came with the motor has the Z32 maf plug and the stock maf plug wired into the same harness. Guy said he left it there in case he wanted to go back to stock? Main problem with diagnosing this is that the screw on the tuned ecu for diagnostic mode is completely stripped. I don't even know how someone does that. Any help would be appreciated.
