hks actuator kit
i did a search but it really didnt help, so i need some input. Ive got a s13 black top in my s14 and i am using an apexi avcr boost controller. My car is tuned at 13psi, but it seems in second and third my boost bleeds off down to about 9 or 10 psi a little more than halfway through my power band. Is the hks actuator kit my solution to this problem, and if so does that work with my AVCR?

You need to play with your AVC-R. If your setting it by just using the boost psi setup, it wont hold. You have to play with the other setting *duty or load cant remember what its called* Crap id explain it more if i have my car but i dont. I was having the same issue your having till a friend of mine showed me how to set it up. Basically you start off lower on the lower NE points *3k @ around 54-60%* and higher at the higher NE Points *7k at max or close to max of 90%* You have to play with it so its constantly at 13-14 psi *1 bar* without spiking too much. Anything more than 1 bar and your liable to blow your turbo seals. You can run the HKS actuator but you already have an AVC-R, might as well put it to good use.
