Thanks man!
Decided to go a slightly different route with the car. I loved the OEM cleanliness, but I think it's time I actually have some fun with the car. I'm not looking to drift it, but some actual track/grip events would be awesome. So in turn, I'll be changing up the aero, tires, suspension, interior and engine work. Lots of stuff coming, I'll update it as I make progress! Till then, in it's stock body glory! |

orly? Nifty... I've been thinking about trying to get out to some HPDE events this year in addition to the regular drift events... it'd be cool to have someone else out there in something other than a euro.

So plans have REALLY changed for this car, and I've decided to part out completely. I'd much rather like to pay off debt to rid of monthly bills and start new with something else. I've enjoyed building this car, but at this point in time it's better to get a fresh start haha. Before I parted out, my Koguchi Power hood came in, so that was cool to rock for a day. But it's all parted and stock now, being sold to one of my buddies. He's going to take good care of it though, and said if I ever want it back I have first dibs haha. I'll be in a new project car fairly soon, and update if anyones interested! |

Funny how different these cars look stripped of all the OEM aero.
Sucks you had to get rid of it, but I definitely understand as far as priorities go. It was either have an over the top, fully built S13...or house. Decided it wouldn't be wise to live in my car. Hah |

Yeah :/ Nah, never been a fan lol Pretty much to pay off some debt and get rid of some monthly bills. I recently had a son and needless to say having that extra cash monthly really helps! Plus as of right now I didn't get much time to spend on the car, so I pretty much just said screw the car for now, I'll build another later haha hahaha yes Yeah it sucks man! Thanks though |

Man that sucks. My s13 is under a car cover fully stripped. Never parted it though. Busy with grown up priorities too. You still have the hood for sale or is it sold?
5280vert do you still have that she'll for sale? |

Quick update to let you guys know what I am up to though, and what happened with the car etc. The car was sold to my good friend as his new daily. He had awesome plans for the car, but unfortunately they were cut short. A short time after he purchased the car from me, he installed Fortune Auto coilovers, some wheels and added some goodies to go along with the KA-T. Right after he got the car running well, he was driving home after work, and got rear ended by a drunk driver. The guy must have been hauling ass, because my friend was driving roughly 45 MPH. The drunk driver pushed his car across a median and into a tree. Luckily, he walked away from the accident with only scrapes and bruises..but sad to say the car is no more. He parted out what he could, so I had to come over and see it one last time before it hit the wreckers. Was a very erie site to say the least..only thing I could recognize was my Colorado fire remembrance sticker I threw on there years ago. But, he's doing well and we're both onto bigger and better things! I ended up picking up a new chassis to mess with, a 2013 BRZ. It's been a great car so far, I really enjoy it! Trying to keep some style with the car as well. Here's what it looks like currently. I keep it dirty lol It was on 18" Model 5's for a few weeks...I enjoyed them but 18's just seemed too big for my taste. So that's about it! If anyone is interested in the BRZ I can keep updating this thread |

Damn, glad he's OK.
We should start C.E.A.D.D. (Car Enthusiasts Against Drunk Driving - pronounced SAD).

One of my buddies started something awhile back, even though no one likes a drunk driver...it didn't get much support unfortunately. Bastards :l Thanks guys! Changed the BRZ up a bit, decided to go against having the thing useless other than for drifting, and I'm going to build a more grip-style build this time around. Here's how it looked before I parted it out: I ran some TE's for a bit too Sold almost everything and started new. I had crappy D2 suspension before, this time around I'm running Tein Flex coils. MUCH better! Got some Advan RCII's with BF Goodrich tires as well. Unrelated, but I wanted to keep a Nissan in the family, so I picked up an amazing condition 2000 Frontier SE. It'll do for the winters I have some new wheels and aero on the way, I'll update if anyones still interested! haha |

Guess I could update this, even though these cars have nothing to do with the title anymore haha
So my BRZ was a fun build, it ended up being my time attack car. Upgraded quite a few suspension pieces, threw on some new RCII's with Advan AD08's, took it to the track only once but unfortunately to Colorado weather it took a turn for the worse. Hail storm from hell...not pictured, but also caused $18k worth of damage to my house. Thank god for insurance! The night before.. The day after. Just installed my new Greddy exhaust too... Needless to say, insurance totaled it out. I parted it back to stock and said my goodbyes. I went without a car for a few months then found my dream project...an FC! Not just any FC, it's a 10th anniversary edition. One of 1500 ever made, pretty cool to own! Already torn down and reparing rust, body panels, rebuilding the suspension first. This is my replacement time attack build. I'll post some updates soon! |
