FS: BRide GIAS Sport Seat w/rail *USed* No rips or tears (yes it's real)
Hello! Up for sale is my Bridge Gias Sport seat. This is made of fiberglass, not the kevlar uber bling one, but still has the same hold and awesome quality you'd expect from Bride. Seat is awesome, I've used it for several track days and it holds awesome whille pulling 1.12gs in the SOW bowl. There's no tears, rips, or anything in the fabric. There's minor scratch on the rear, but it's very faint. The seat cushions can be removed to be washed/aired out. The recliner mechanism is well developed and sturdy.
Overall the seat is in very good condition and you'll get your every pennies worth. The seat also comes with a seat rail used for the s14. This is all authentic hardware from Bride. The seat was purchased from an authorized dealer (Hiro Auto in Costa Mesa) as well as the seat rail. Seat retails for $1400 BEFORE tax AND w/o rail (rail is like 220?). I assume you know the quality seats Bride produces so please refrain from low balling. If you can't afford the seat, then save up more money till you can. And yes the seat is real. If you have any doubt I'm more than happy to ease your doubts. Picked up in Fountain Valley 92708: $1000 Will ship if you're willing to pay for it... expect it to cost a lot. SOLD!!!! Front, back, side to side: Certification stickers:

I'm sure this will be gone soon. If I were already back in the 805 I'd snatch this up in a heartbeat, but I'm unfortunately stuck in afghanistan until April.
Good luck with the sale of a sexy ass seat!!

Obvoiusly most car folks are out on their asses financially...that's why nice finished cars worth 20-30 k are selling for $10,000. The question is can anyone afford this seat or did you spend all your cash on tires?

yeah everyone wants the image rather than fit n function. takes money to build something right. often I meet people in clubs dressed fancy but have no jobs. it is what it is and although I hate hearing that, it's true, and amusing to hear.
tires? nope. new car. new plan. I can afford tires otherwise I wouldn't drive this car. buy this damn seat already!

i'm not bashing you by any means, just making an observation. i dont follow much on Bride seats so excuse my lack of knowledge.
those seats look so fake!! maybe i shouldn't say "fake"; they look very cheaply made. after seeing these i dont think i want real Brides anymore *the above statements have been made based solely on the posters biased opinion and in no way, shape, or form represent any fact.* |

yeah the seat will probably be around for a while considering the direction this thread is going.
yeah 240ka you're entitled to my opinion. you can also call a vette a piece of junk if you watch Jeremy clarksons review of it, yet it's probably the fastest car you can buy for the money and does well in gt2 series in Europe and other professionally racing series. there's a reason why china copies bride. though this seat does has the lame sparkle backing, the parts, the cloth, and the finish are really nice. aside from neglect to get the seat cleaned, I had this seat through various track events and now with my oem seat in place it boggles my mind why the 240 came with such a piece of shit seat to begin with. bride makes a great seat, I'd recommend you try one out if you have the chance. recaro and sparco make great seats too, but none of them had the high thigh support and the reclinability I was looking for.

I am interested if this is real
but can you take a better pic of the adjustment roller, it should be embossed with the bride logo. Also can you take a better pic of the ASEA sticker? also can you do the magnet test? thanks -duder |

Bump for your seat man, that thing looks like the real deal to me. I've got a Bride seat in my 240z and I adore it. If that seat was red, I would be harassing you a whole bunch haha. Some people just don't know quality when they see it, good luck with the sale.

Yo! Thanks for the positive comments 'n all. Bride Gias SPORT seat is really nice and I'm sure whoever buys it will enjoy it as much as I have. Just a bit of a pain to get out of it when you're parked heh.
I understand the skepticism bout it. Bride took a big hit cause of copies and it sucks for them. It's funny cause I bought a Bride Gias seat from a non-dealer and it fell apart after taking it to Streets of Willow. I took it to Bride and sure enough it was fake. But ultimately, I don't know how else to say this really, but it's real. I have no reason to say otherwise. If you saw the rest of my car you'd realize I don't skimp on parts. All my car components are by well known brands that actually race professionally (ALMS) or custom (from a shop that builds race cars). To give you an idea of what's on my car, my suspension alone retails over 6k. All I can say is come, take a look at it, bring a Bride employee, or I can meet you at a certified Bride retailer (bought mine from Hiro's repair shop in costa mesa) and we can go from there. I'll take better pix when I get home, I'm in SD. I SHOULD have the certificate that came with the seat... but I'll have to dig for that one. No guarantees on finding it. I'm not sure if I'd want to part it. I think the rails are only for the GIAS sport seats. I could be wrong though. I would like to sell it as a whole unit.

A magnet might stick, this is the Gias SPORT. Not sure if they all came with aluminum brackets. So don't be surprised if it does. Still the same quality, fit, 'n function. It'll blow your oem seats, or any other cheaper seat, out of the water. Next best thing is a fixed bucket seat.

heres the certificate of authentication
every bride product comes with these. it matches the serial number on the seat. I'm sure this should put everyones doubts at ease.
