Lowering a Car with HICAS?
hey guys,
Sort of a noob question since this is my first out of 4 S-Chassis with Hicas but.... Plans are to put some coils in, 5 lug, wheels, roll the fenders blah blah blah.. If the car is slammed will I run into any issues with Hicas making the wheels rub on the fenders or anything etc. Or should I just get the Tomei Electronic Eliminator and call it a day. Thanks guys |

I could be wrong, I've never dealt with the HICAS personally, but I don't believe the rear wheels turn nearly as drastically as the front. I would think you would be fine in the back. Of course, this also depends on how wide of a wheel/tire you are going to run. With my 17x7 Enkei RS5, lowered 2.25", I feel I would have plenty of room in the back to do HICAS if I wanted.
EDIT: I am referring to the S14. I have no clue about the S13. Last edited by 03redTuscani; 05-21-2010 at 03:01 AM.. |

the rear wheels turn 2-3 degrees max, i believe.
depending on your fitment, i doubt you'd run into problems. Unless you are already rubbing under load, i wouldn't be worried.
