I'm gonna try to finish my car on Friday, take care of what I have to take care of Saturday Morning, go see the realestate agent in the afternoon, and hopefully I can still make it over there on time.
I'm crossing my fingers here. LoLz

Luke,
Sorry, but it looks like I won't be able to make after all to compete for the heavyweight division title. I am going to be helping Joe K. (red Z32 with JDM HID's at Strictly Z last weekend) do some work on his Z for a car show next week. I hope some other Z32's show up to fight for the title. Glenn

Luke, your 240 is the shit man! Thanks for letting me ride in it
I'll try to make it tomorrow after I'm done installaing the LSD. I might bring my friend with an old school bug if that's okay. Quick question, were you also able to add an LSD additive when you filled the diff with oil? Just wondering. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the address for the meet for those that don't know: Happy Days Diner 2638 Union Avenue San Jose, CA 95124 Oh, and anyone have a spare rear shock mount/bracket for an S13? It's the one with the 2 studs in the rear. Last edited by stillmatic; 01-31-2004 at 12:49 AM.. |

Damn, I couldn't make it.. Had some problems with the lsd install. I thought it was gonna be easy after I got the open diff out which was at 4pm. I was really looking forward to weigh my car tonight. Oh well, maybe next time.

hey
If you want. My friend will trade me that lsd and axels for a 180vlsd with the six bolt output shafts. Let me know if you cannot get it in.
Luke. My car weighed in at 2410 lbs. Yea.!

I'll let you know about the lsd after I try again tomorrow. I'm only having a hard time sliding the driver's side axle. The other side went right in after I filed the first 5 threads. |

Humm.
What fight? I left after the cars were scaled. Also sorry the meet was a bit unorganized. But its not like it was a car show or anything. It was just a fun thing to do on a saturday night. Also. Sorry for the people that called me late. Its hard to give directions to the scale.
Luke

It was fun seeing everyone at the meet...I didn't know about any fight, and I stayed at the scales until all the cars had gone. It was fun to see the wieghts of the supra, celica, and the two hondas that showed up late. I'm always interested to see how much my car weighs in comparisson to the other cars on the road.
My car was 2680, which isn't bad since it has a full cage, and a full tank of gas!

Yeah there was a honda guy making fun of peoples cars towards the end. So i layed him out flat on the weight scale and then dragged him over to the railroad tracks and strapped him down there to stay. Dunno if you really could call it a fight.

I was surprised to see that the Celica is only 2500lbs.. explains alot of what I've seen from that car on the track and in autocross.
...oh, and what was the weight of everyone standing on the scales? 2400something, or so? That was pretty funny.. |
