IDK, I tend to list everything for sale once I acquire it and then continue building it until someone buys it and i finish it. The fun for me is getting my hands on it, building it and selling it, the chaser I listed it for sale and it didnt sell for like 5-6 months till I was pretty much done with it.

I dont have emotional attachment to objects like some people

Cusco made a few packages for these cars back in the day. I would imagine they released new products for these cars 17 years later. Im also certain I missed things when I listed which cusco products are on it.

Brief update, car has a new viper 2 way alarm now, we installed remote start, turbo timer, shock sensor, tilt sensor, glass break sensor, trunk pop actuator, driver door lock and unlock actuator (does not come with actuators in drivers doors, only passenger).

You can do anything, I know people in VA, NY, MD, NC and a CA with registered grey market cars. You just need to know the right people and afford it. Its so hard to find ones these clean, better move to FL and buy this .

You can legally register any imported car in almost every state as long as it was imported properly and depending on emissions laws in your state.

There's a lot more to making it fed legal than just registering the car. It's still grey market until you have the bond release, certification from the EPA and documents/stickers proving it, NHTSA certification, and all done through an RI (federally registered importer) or be an RI yourself. If it's not 25 years or older, there's a 9.9/10 chance it's grey market. This isn't a bash to the OP either, in Florida it's just much easier to get away with grey-market cars (and most other things ), usually there's no hassle. But everyone's read the horror stories of federal investigations and the govt crushing cars, so there's always the risk.

The govt cant seize nor crush a car that was brought here legally. It's not a federal crime to register a grey market car in your state. If you're talking making a grey market car federal legal then yeah it's an expensive process. Cars that are seized and or crushed are cars that have been imported without the proper documentation or vin swapped. That's when it becomes a federal crime.

Grey-market cars are purchased illegally, period, unless it's been certified and put through the proper EPA conversion process. YES they can seize and crush your car if you attract enough attention. Good luck making an insurance claim in an accident without the police questioning the vehicle and likely making a call to homeland security. To quote this Jalopnik article:

"First off, I am not wrong. U R wrong.

Second: There is no legal Nissan Silvia S-15 in the United States. None. Zero. If you are currently driving a Nissan Silvia S-15 in the United States, you are an outlaw; a rebel; you're the Jesse James of four-cylinder Japanese automobiles."

http://jalopnik.com/here-s-how-peopl...d-s-1685247358

And if you want some further education:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/pa-1998-n...r-t554869.html

It's a shame Zilvia has no policy against this grey-market bullshit.

That's actually false. A grey market car can be purchased legally. That's why it's called a grey market car genius and not a black market car. Quote all you want and paste articles from dip shits like jolopnik till you're blue in the face. I'v had grey market cars before some of you could even drive. Been pulled over more times than I could count and have had several claims on grey market cars that were paid without question. How is that you ask? Because the car was state legal in every way and properly insured for what the car is. If you were right no state would allow a grey market car to be registered at all.

Right, but federal law trumps state law every time. Your car is illegal. You may never have an issue driving it, but until at least 2024, it's grey.

It serves a purpose in that it provides people with the correct information before they buy and register an S15 anywhere except the grey haven that is Florida. I mean, that's what a decent seller would do.

A car can not become federally legal at a later time EVER if it is here before the 25 year law. You simply would not have the correct paper work needed to do so later on and you would show the feds it has been here illegally. That's why these cars sit in japan in storage until the month of manufacture date when import companies buy cars ahead of being legal. They would love to just import them here and let them sit in their hands if that was possible. Grey market cars are just like speeding, are people doing it? Yes, but it is still illegal. lol
