I was wondering If anyone has coilovers, and what kind they have. I am just trying to see what is out there and what is good. I have heard of the APEXi N1's but i dont know how much they are, or if they are any good. Any info would be great .

N1's, expect to pay 2-3G's. They're expensive. The kind of suspension u want should correlate with what kind of driving you do/want to do.

Myself, i'm at the amateur drift level. It's my preferred style, and lots of fun, so coilovers are pretty much a must. If you're just doing street performance, you'll be happy with just a stiffer street strut and lower springs. If you intend to drag, that's outta my area... but I'm sure some AGX's would be fine

Just my 2 cents. ^_^

N1 are not 2k
sorry
u can get the low end N1 for only like $900-1000..... these are height adjustable but not stiffness adjustable but the ride is pretty nice- almost stock.......
or u can pay like 1500 for like height and stiffness....
i personally like the ride on the Apexi
but u can look into Tein and a few expensive ones

I plan on doing hard street driving, some drifting , and a bit of road race style driving. So you say the N1's feel almost like stock? I would like a stiffer ride, i dont really mind it. so, they will run about 900-1000? not to bad i guess.

If I were to get coilovers I would go with the tein HR's. I've heard they are soft enough for street (a stiff racing coilover will rip apart your chassis if not properly supported) but they don't come with the pillow ball mounts. If you have an S13 I would go with a set of KYB AGX's and Eibach Pro Kit. If you want height adjustment then get some ground-control coilovers. Coilovers aren't just a cheap way to raise, lower, and adjust the spring setting. There is alot you need to know. I would just go with the AGX's

it would be for an s14, and what about the ground-controls, they say they are for race only so i am guessing they are way to stiff. and i do want to go coilovers, not just a lowering spring setup. and i am willing to spend around 900 or so if i have to. But i wanna try to keep it cheaper if i can, i just dont wanna buy anything that will be of low quality.
