Bye Bye Rotary... RB25 Widebody FD RX7
Just thought I'd share this with you guys.
This FD RX7 is owned by Brent Villareal, the marketing director for TunerlifestyleTV.com, an online magazine/media site. Brent is also one of the members of Team Senbou in Houston, Texas. The car is an FD RX7, painted Monterey Blue (Lamborghini Murcialago), sits on a massive set of HREs, and is powered by a Nissan RB25DET. I'll post a mods list afterwards. Definitely one of the nicest cars I've ever photographed. Photos below, remember you can click any of them to view my photostream, more photos, and my other work as well! We didn't plan bay shots, I wasn't too prepared, and his bay (and his motor build) is not nearly finished... it wasn't quite as clean as the rest of the car, either. Anyways... the RB swap! HRE 540s. And not only does it come with photos, but I'm going to share video as well! Check it! TunerLifeStyleTV's Coverage of Brent's RB7! And the mods list! Car looks good!
but I'm kinda weirded out by the tires. Its like hella stretched up front, yet fatty looking in the rears. I'd say go stretched all around, or go fatty tires all around, but not one or the other. /.02

Pretty nice car, and nice photoshoot.
I bet the 700 lb RB didn't mess up the balance of the car at all

That's probably the right sized intercooler. If it doesn't need bigger, why go bigger? There's this cool thing called efficiency.

wait. lambos come in blue?
also, the rear needs to be lowered a bit to make the car's look flow better.

That may be one of the most gorgeous FD's I've ever seen!
Nice build!

wow so how practical is this? i'm hating but not hating at the same time. nice FD chassis though, i'm guessing this is for drag due to those tires.
