buying silkroad coilovers on advice of the internet. don't do this. internet advice sucks. local advice is way more relevant.

case in point, 3 of us locals have silkroads and all 3 developed shaft play in the front two shocks. me, after 8000 miles or so. i like wasting money.

i hit a street sign and then spent a summer learning to do bodywork and had it painted orange. then i racked up like a billion tickets.

either that or buying it. if i never owned the 240 i think i'd probably care a lot less about cars and a lot more about things worth caring about.

Wish I hadn't slid in a parking lot with my lights off so as not to draw attention. Hit curb, bent tie rod and damaged lower control arm, didn't fix or align properly which led to another worse crash. Car never felt the same again.... Oh well! I've a better car now

a $700 stereo system, Z32 brake upgrade that is sitting in my garage, useless aero, an ebay GT wing WTF?? a kouki cluster that I will never use, and a overlay carbon fiber cluster:ghey:

I wish I had learned to actually drift before I dove headfirst into track driving, drifting on a banked oval track w/ a concrete wall...

I definitely should have practiced around in a parking lot in 1st gear first, but everyone was all "TAKE IT TO THE TRACK! KEEP IT OFF THE STREETS! Blah blah blah..." Instead of first learning figure eights, I went straight to doing 3rd gear pulls all the way around the bank haha.

Such a waste... Car was M.I.N.T. *sigh*...

selling my first 240. It started a pretty vicious cycle which i'm trying to stop right now. I haven't had a single car for longer than 4 months until now. I'm on 240 number 7 right now.

I regret that I sold my "Hi-Power" exhaust when I noticed that my header, mid-pipe, cat and exhaust were all welded together. I should've just added a flange and had fun with it.

I definitely regret buying an Ebay short-shifter, super fail.

not to many regrets here,.. anything ive done wrong, i learned from, and i think that makes it worth it.
-buckin' up and payin' for quality shit
-when NOT to kick the clutch
-thinking "fuck it, its just another ticket"
-making my daily a track car also
-going 5 lug,...lol
-getting a s13, shoulda got a s14

but i love my car!,..and nothing is undo-able,.. whether its repair or replacement

It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
