The crossmember is already there...

Looks like you'll need a MKIII transmission rubber mount, then some type of S-Chassis motor mounts (Nismo, Avid, what have you)

Soarer is the best u can get for this swap. Reason being there newer motors out if the soarer. All and i mean allll 1jz's " soar,chaser,mk2&3 " are the same motors the only diffence is front and rear oil pans and older to newer motors. U can buy any 1jz u want if its a rear stump just change it to front and it works. Now the soarer is a rear but there newer motors unlike the mk's. Where talking just motors not transmissions. So i just front swaped it ans boom drop in 1jz.

Ok now for the transmissions. The only transmission that will work for this swap that will be a DROPIN trans is the chaser tranny. Only reason is cause the chaser trannys come with a extension on the tranny that puts the tranny in the stock localtion of a 240.

Now you can use 7m trannys but for 2 reasons u would want to
1. The trany is old so be ready to upgrade some parts in there later down the line.
2. You will need the extension for the trans to sit in the right spot.
So after you spend money on a 7m trany for say you will need to drop another 350.00 on top of that trany for the extension swap beeded for it to fit in the 240.

I hope this helps.

By the way everything i just expalined to u was what i learned in a 2week time frame. I had a sr20 for 3 years and no nothing about it weird huh. But again i hope this helps

P.s it will run about 700.00 motor a soar motor. 350.00 for the front stump conversion and 350.00 for the extension for the trans. I never said this swap is cheap and dont forget all the upgrades need just to get it to drop in water pump, timing belt, serpin...belt, water pump pully, a normale tune up all fluids "oil water"
And now i had to add to my list a trans mount. So be ready to drop money if ur doing this swap do belive everything u read. Im doing my own swap with a friend so ill save some
Money there. Also everyone that know about motor work nothing ever goes in as plain. There always nickle and dime shit that caost u money too.

Couldn't you use a KA radiator to cut back on hose?

If you use a KA radiator you can use an IS300 upper hose.
