So, I'm thinking of selling my S13... I know the prices have been fluctuating recently, so I want to ask the general Zilvia population what you think its worth.

'89 S13 coupe
204k
main harness relocated inside the engine bay
cat-back exhaust

Silvia front end:
GT-R original NISMO grill
square halogen headlights
OEM bumper AND replica Aero bumper

Cusco strut bars front and rear
Tein HR coilovers
Tein camber plates
new tie rods

Bride Ergo seat
Momo steering wheel

Currently looks like this:

but I'm thinking of painting it before I sell it, and maybe dropping in a new KA-E.

So, what do YOU think its worth?

In cali. . .Maybe 4 grand right now, after you paint it, 5 grand, and if you get a newer engine 5.5 grand.

Don't worry Logan, I'm not leaving Nissans. I've been trying to switch out to something Nissan, but older and with the steering wheel on the wrong side. I had my chance, then lost it, and now its back. So, I think I'm going to take the plunge and the S13 has to go

i donno if it's any interest to you, but why not register it as a "show" car...that thing where you pay super low insurance prices if you insure it w/ liability cuz you only put x amount of miles on it...that way you're paying nearly nothing to keep the car...i mean what's 3-4 thousand dollars in the long run?

if you did this, you could keep the S13 as a track car

The way that car looks, no more than 3K. With a good paint job 4K maybe.

When you sell a modified car, you get close to nothing for mods on it unless it is extremely clean (normal non-car people will consider it) or its a show/magazine car.

If you are selling it, I'd turn it as close to stock as possible.

i would just keep s13 as daily driver and track this "RHD car" you speak of. i hope its a chaser or something hot.

Bah, I have a Passat 1.8T for daily driving duties!

And, the RHD car is free and clear of all DOT/EPA BS... Totally legit. And, its a Nissan!

pretty much you can sell the front end if you still have the old pignose/chuki front lying around for say 800-1k on ebay.

the cusco struts will pull in depending on condition around 100-150 for the pair. anything tein wont sell for crap on ebay. probably a couple hundred maybe 5. momo steering wheel again depends on condition can rake anywhere up to 100+ with the hub. and an ergo you can probably get 400-500 if its clean. not sure what kind of catback is that but you can figure out what its worth

then sell the car for about 2000-3kish and add all the stuff listed above thats about right.

s13 fronts is a good investment because the value is always there.

Don't paint it just to sell it.

You'll spend maybe $2-3k painting it, and then raise the value by what, $1k?

I mean, fix little stuff, CEL's, etc.., but don't do anything major to it just to raise the sales value, better to just keep the cash. If the mismatched paint is really bad (hard to tell from pic), just Krylon it really well, then sell it.

for most normal people, the car is worth 1,500-2,000... but people are overpaying for 240sx's like crazy lately because they're the new "thing" so i'd say if you find the right person, maybe 3,500-4,000. good luck to ya.

Juast depends how lucky you get with a buyer. I've seen some worthless shells go for over $1500, so yours has got to be worth more than that. But as always you will get more by parting it out.
