What tires can I fit on the front (9" wide) without stretching? I purchased this vehicle with the following setup:
CHASSIS: s13 WHEELS: XXR 17x9 +35 offset FRONT TIRES: 205/50R17 w/ 1" spacers REAR TIRES: 245/45R17 DETAILS: ISR Pro coilovers The previous owner used this car for autocross, I would like to make it more daily driveable by adjusting the coilovers to raise the ride height a bit, and putting some all-season tires on. The front tires are stretched and the previous owner told me this was necessary to prevent rubbing with the current setup. If I raise the ride height what size tire would fit a 9" wheel on the front without rubbing? Last edited by zerog; 06-02-2019 at 04:31 PM.. |

RS05RR 18X9.5 +22 square. RS-RR 275/35 Def gonna need wider front fenders, but hoping to avoid overs in the rear. I'm gonna try to pull to make it fit. |

I was running a 17x9 +35 before with a 255/40 square setup. I got a killer price for these (about 50% of retail) and couldn't pass it up. It will also allow me to rotate wheels to keep the wear somewhat even. |

XXR 551's 17x8.25 +36 215/45-17 fronts 235/40-17 rears (245/40-17 if traction is an issue) Wouldn’t mind knowing if I’d be able to put the 235’s up front. |

Hey Guys,
I’m waiting on coilovers otherwise I’d do the test fitting myself. Would I have an issue running square 265/35 on R34 GT-R wheels 18x9 +30 on my stock body S14? Alternatively, should I stick with 245 series tires? Not looking to stretch or pull the fenders (willing to roll). Tires currently mounted are 11 year old 245/40s. |

I was going to suggest the same as spooled, but maybe a 15mm spacer in the front depending on your coil overs. 255/35 all around will look nice though.

Picked up a set of 18x9.5 +15 MB Battles. Shooting for maximum tires. I have 295/35 and 265/35 sitting in my shack at the moment. I do not believe I will be able to run these tires on this setup due to the low offset. What size is recommended?
Front fenders are rolled and rears are slightly pulled. I don't believe my car is that low.. |

For a 9.5 with a 265/35 in the rear, a +30 and greater would fit without rubbing. Not gonna fit a 265 up front without wider fenders, but 9.5 +15 should clear coilovers with a 265 |

I have a 255 on a 9.5 +7 and it's rubbing when I turn. Would a 245/35 on a 9.5 +15 fix this?

rubbing the edge of the fender? that'd fix (help) it. that +15 is going to sit 8mm closer to the coil, and thus, 8mm more inboard from the edge of the fender. and the smaller tire size will obviously help. Now, i can assume you are rubbing on both the fender edge and probably fender wells. I was running a 17x9 +35 (20mm spacer so +15 effective). with 3 degrees camber i was poking out quite a bit on the outside, but had ample room between the tire and coil. this was with a 255/40r17 tire. that being said, 245/35 is not max tire on a 9.5 wheel. |
