s13 Ka24de 2 questions!

Hey, I am new to the forum, and new to the 240. I just bought one and it has two issues.

The first issue is that there is something that is draining the battery and I am not sure what it is. I was thinking it was the alternator, but when I pull the negative off the battery, the car still runs... Any IDeas??

Second, The car is I believe is burning oil because I notice white smoke coming out of the tail pipe, and It smells a little off. I have changed the spark plugs and wires, and I was wondering what else I should do. Im doing an oil change tomorrow, but I don't think that will make a difference on this issue.

Any help would be much appreciated

White smoke is caused by burning coolant. Watch your coolant levels, and watch for coolant in the oil.
To find your parasitic drain just hook up your ammeter to your battery and start pulling fuses. when you pull a fuse and the amp draw decreases then you found the circuit that is draining your battery.
