Note to Instructors: Your account must be pre-approved as an Instructor to be able to see the "Instructor" registration options and get the special instructor pricing. If you wish to instruct but do not see any instructor registration options do not sign up for the open drift. Contact us for approval and we'll configure your account so you can register as an instructor. Instructors will be required to help and mentor their students for the duration of the event but there will be plenty of time to get in tons of personal runs once your student is comfortable practicing on their own. With the Packwood event format giving instructors more run time plus the higher site fees we have to charge instructors to be able to cover costs. Its pretty darn cheep though! Money Saving Tips! If you are a SCCA annual member you save $15 every event. Non-members pay $15 more and receive a temporary weekend membership. If you plan on attending multiple SCCA Drift events this season, it's worth it to join the SCCA, especially if you are 24 years old or younger or active duty in the military. To join the SCCA go to SCCA - Sports Car Club of America. Use Northwest Region - #027 for your region of record. Email us at NWRSCCADrift(at)gmail.com to get information for the additional $15 Member referral discount. For the best resource on local lodging and food options see the Destination Packwood website. Destination Packwood Home Page We recommend staying Friday and Saturday night if you are doing both days. Free on site camping (behave yourselves). Additional details to be updated soon! We are looking for some one with a tire machine and compressor to help support this event. Let us know if you can help! Oh - and watch this video if you don't know how rad Packwood is going to be. YouTube - ‪Smackdown 09 teaser‬‏ How to find where to stay and eat and stuff! Destination Packwood Home Page - Local resource that has many of the local lodging and food joints. GOOGLE - Google Maps This amazing all knowing oracle will tell you anything you want to know. Type in Hotel, Camping, Trailer Rental, restaurant, etc. and go from there. Keep in mind that Packwood is a very small, rural town in the middle of nowhere. If you want a hotel for cabin it is best to make reservations sooner than later. |
