VQ35 swapped R32 Turbokit Build~
Working with a local shop, SV Performance on there R32 chassis that they swapped in a VQ35DE to. This is a drift car that they have put together and has been involved in the local drift events on the Westcoast.
We are building the hard parts to boost the VQ including Exhaust Manifold, Intercooler and Downpipe. The process of this build will be updated through the week and can be show in more detail on the DOC Blog Started with a Custom DOC Intercooler.... With the intercooler mounted we built the cold-pipe and adapted the airflow meter since this will be factory wiring with the Osiris flash system... Were currently mounting his turbocharger and building the other chargepipe. Expected to be done by Friday April 6th and back into SVP's hands. Last edited by T.O.D.; 04-05-2012 at 02:53 PM.. |

Finished the right bank header, finished the left bank header (turbo-side) and started building the 4" downpipe and cross-over section....
After the cross-over and the downpipe are finished, the supplied turbo will be installed and on to the Hot-side chargepipe! |

Thanks guys, were pretty happy with how it's turning out definitely interested to see how it does with a stock VQ engine.
Let us know when you want to boost the VQ Eky_Drifter, were working with them in a few different chassis now so with development of our current 350Z kit we should have S chassis/VQ35-T packages available also. We are swapping a VQ into our S14 shop car shortly.. |

Haha thanks, I guess you never know whats in store! Kinda like your roll center and suspension thread; great info.
The car went back to SVP today for them to finish it up, pretty much what you see to this point is finished with us. I'll update pics when we get the last few fabricated pieces finished up, waiting for a few more materials... |
