Twin disc with Stock s13 clutch assembly help!

Hey guys I have a s14 that was auto/manual swapped. Currently has a SR, stock tranny with a CC twin disc clutch.

The car is drive-able but the problem is that my pedal travel is short (doesn't hit the floor) and the smallest movement in clutch travel makes a huge impact. For example, simply taking off in 1st gear smoothly is a challenge. I believe it has something to do with my s13 clutch assembly set up, possibly not enough pressure? I've looked around and emailed CompetionClutch, looks like a larger slave cylinder may help, Im thinking about the 300zx TT slave. Any info on this would help, is it a direct bolt on?

Its hard to explain the problem but its basically hard/pain in the ass to drive. I appreciate your help!

Joe

If it doesn't hit the floor, you may have to adjust the pedal. As far as I know, the slave cylinders between the 300zx, 240sx, ect are the same size. If you want to ease up the clutch, get the Nismo slave cylinder.

some of the twin disk clutches recommend you use either modified throw out bearings or ones from other cars.

Check and see if yours is one of those
