240sx too rich need help

ok so i have an s13 with a ca18det. i bought the car not running and a few weeks later i got it up and running. it idled a little rough and ran a little lean and when i stepped on the gas it would go a little rich. i figured it was the safc that need tuning so i took it to a shop for a tuning and they told me it was "broken" or defective so they disconnected it and only charged me half the price. the car idles really good the a/f ratio is at a 14.7 at idle which is good but when i step on the gas even the slightest bit it goes super rich and it doesnt not pull at all even when i hit boost. I dont know much about how my motor is built i mainly bought the car for a shell but when i got it running plans changed

so my questions are-
Do apexi SAFC2`s go bad over time or was that shop just scamming me for my money?
What is causing my car to run so rich i figure its either i have monster injectors or my ecu is programmed to dump a shit load of gas but if anyone else has any other suggestions they would help. me being only 17 you could consider me noobish

Hello send me an inbox if you get this solve. I have the same issue. Its burning motor oil now. I don't know why. Is it the turbo or the TPS. I got it checked mechanics said its the TPS sensor. I have not get that fix yet but I'll do it real soon. My car just go so slow and i don't know why. Sometimes it goes fast but when i stop stepping on the gas it stops reving after 2 or 3

its highly unilikely for an s-afc to go bad. however disconnecting it is a step towards the truth.

sounds most likely like a boost leak. check all your hoses and piping, and if you dont find anything, take your intercooler off and pressurise it in water to check for bubbles.

When my sr ran like that the cam angle sensor was a tooth off and it was running super rich. I'd check for boost leaks and ignition timing.
