Chassis rewiring sr s13

Anyone here ever fully rewire the chassis harness so everything is on a switch panel. What I'm looking to do it have a switch panel with ignition (to power everything up), push button start, lights, turn signals/flashers, and wipers. Is a painless kit the best way to go for this? I'm thinking strip the engine harness down to just the engine plugs and then go from there. Any tips or suggestions?? thanks!

Buy an ez wire kit and call it done. Its half the price if you buy all of the materials(~$260) to build one yourself. Building from scratch will take days if not weeks for a wiring noob, moreover you'll most likely have problems after its built. A full ez wire kit (painless complete drag kit) is on summit for around 520-530. Plug the wires were they need to go, mount the fuse box, Done!
