I'm about to pick up a '93 fastback with a dead odometer. It reads 98,XXX mi. but the care actually has about 120,XXX on it.
When I swap in an SR20 can this be fixed? or can it be fixed on its own?
Can I use the gauge cluster from a frontclip (if it comes with one)??

umm...i'm sure you can get it fixed (or will get it fixed) when you do an sr20 drop....the odometer sensor like the speedo i think is somewhere on the tranny (now how much the part is and how easy it is to get to i have no idea) but i'd check for that and maybe for a short somewhere in the instrument cluster....maybe you have to resolder or something....who knows.....i'd check those first before you go ripping the car apart

Gratsi, I will do that.
anywhere in particular I should look for bad connections? .... errrrr I suppose that's kind of a vague question, but I can't come up with anything better for the time being.
