This dude is Fuking amazing guys! sent me an online tune for my barely running RB25det s1 s14.

got it dyno'd (will have graph up this week!! no BS )

the tune he sent me is a Base map. for my set up

255 fuel pump
550cc injectors
jecs adjustable fuel pressure regulator
top mount holset h1c "the big one"
greddy intake mani + q45 TB
J60 maff
stock motor.

tuned with a Apexi PFC

his base map with NO modifications earned me
350whp and 306 ft-lbs on 15psi

400whp and 366 ft-lbs on 19psi.

this was at 6500 rpm on a rb25det! i made peak power at 6500 rpm. the graph was still climbing! i just decided to let off then.
now people realize this is his BASE MAP!!
ignition timing is extremely conservative.
my AFR's where perfect. low 11's until red-line
the car drives amazing PERIOD. no issues at all.

any questions Email this dude asap!! if you need help he answers ASAP. like almost weird fast lol. even with other car questions i had too. Not just tuning related. 240sx related!

Wow those numbers are respectable, Steve told me about you today. I have my appointment this Saturday. I def should make over 350, I have a lil more done lol. Night and day difference or what!! Congrats man.

thats awesome i will be getting a power fc for my rb pretty soon and ditching my safc i hope steve can make more power with the power fc than the safc!

there is no doubt in my mind he will..and the funny thing is i bet his BASE map he sends you will make more power and make it more reliable. dude the tune i am on right now..i bet if i could literally take it to him, he could get 20WHP more EASILY ... and 20 is probably an hugeee underestimation

Great stuff! There is no reason for any 240 guy to take their car elsewhere if you've got tunable ems/standalone and need to get it running

haha except rememeber my dyno is a dyno dynamics, which reads the lowest in the industry "heartbreaker"

Still though...last RB we had in here did 380 whp at 14 psi...cough

If you end up purchasing any of the following:

Power FC
Haltech P1000, P2000, E8, E11, E6K etc
AEM EMS
Megasquirt
Microtech

or any of the other fully reprogrammable EMS that you can tune in total real time, then yes. Either with map service or dyno time.

I am not a huge fan of the Nis-Tune because it requires you use an external emulator off-board to emulate the tune, and then you flash it into your ecu. barf.

Keep me in the loop, I am very reasonable for what you get.

Hope everyone else keeps up the tuning push. I am glad to see so many people finally taking care with their EMS. The EMS should be the first thing you invest in, not an afterthought like it used to be...

Not that he needs it, but I always vouch for Steve. One of the "OG" SR guys, and he's got as much or more invested into this community as anyone else I know.

Good chance I'll be bringing the FD down to him to play with and give that Dyno Dynamics a workout

my little brother's stationed in san diego, we're making decent headway on his na-T 2j FD rx7, if he needs any tunage out in cali after we ship his car out that way i'll recommend he comes see you since big bro's cross country here in atlanta :P

You send him your specs, and then he emails you the tune?

dude all i did. was emailed him my set up ( just how i told you guys on the first post!! ) just make sure what you tell him all of what you have. i even told him i have a jecs Fuel pressure reg. and 255 fuel pump. tell him everything! and what computer management you are using. for example i use the apexi Power FC. and BAM he sent me a tune. and you just plug in alllll the info he sent you into your tuning source.

just by doing this. i made 400....and thats base map. i know i've said it alot. but thats a ton of power for a online conservative base map.

I orginally just wanted to offer the service to help people get started, but now that I have thousands of dyno tunes and EFI traning to work off of the base maps have become an end solution in itself for a lot of people new to EMS tuning
