Do you know which engine matches each of those attributes? If not, do more research, and figure out what your priorities are, then stop asking other people for their opinions and have your own. We need more of that nowadays, there`s too many people expecting to base their car off what the guys on the internet tell them to do...

thats good info man, and i totally agree. im not stating that sr sucks, or even ka sucks. i prefer ca becasue i know about ca and i believe that i can achieve my goals with it for less. buti n his situation, he knows nothing about either 3 motors. do your research and deside what u want according to your coals and prefrences. u want low end? DONT GET CA

CA, SR, KA-T (SOHC or DOHC), of even KA na power. It doesn't matter. Do what you want. I just realized that. I always had all of these people tell me what I should do for like the past six months and I couldn't make up my mind. I finally decided to stop listening to everyone. I decided on SOHC KA-T cause I already have a SOHC and I like it. I want to turbo it cause I want more high end power out of it. Try sittin down and thinkin about what YOU want and then research. You gotta do your homework.

what the heck do you want to do with the car anyways? drift? grip? show? drag? If you want ~270hp for drag why dont you get a honda? I don't see how one can be cheap and want power up to 270.

275 hp?

No problem, this is what you need:

Bigger turbo, S14 t25 works.
FMIC
Full exhaust, decatpipe, turbo elbow.
444 Nismo Injectors
Z32 LMM
Chip
Open air filter
Oilcooler
Better head gasket
+meters to keep track on things.

If you build the exhaust yourself and get a IC from s SAAB or similar this is not very costly at all.
Before you do this a rebuild is good tough...

ca18det's sucks and they are the worst motor that nissan has ever made.

which is why ca18det was designed arround the characteristics of the rb and sr was a cheap replacment. do yourself a favor and ditch the jdm. work out your ka ot the max
