NEED HELP! KA24DE swap not firing

Ok, I have searched and nothing covers my issue. I have just recently rebuilt a KA24DE and swapped it into my 89 240sx. It gets fuel and does not get spark. I have two distributors, a new cap and I have tested them all via the FSM. coil gets voltage, the CAS gets voltage and they all get ground continuity. the one test the did fail was the CAS continuity to the ecu, I think it was just my voltmeter though not sure. I just do not get it. I am getting a CEL for code 21 and for code 34. the code 34 is because my knock sensor broke. the code 21 is ignition circuitry or something. but my job now relies on me getting this car running, any help is greatly appreciated.

One other thing is the dash lights, before the swap, alot of lights would come on, left bottom, top center and bottom right, until it started or until you left the key in on for 5 seconds. now only the bottom left ones come on.

The ignition signal comes from the black/white lead from the ECU, but is generated from the underhood plug by the battery, black/red wire. make sure those both have voltage, in and out. The MAF will share the same lead as the distributor.

Awesome I will have to check that out. the other thing I did notice regarding the dash lights is the brake light is on even if the brake is down. Its killing me, must be a wiring issue. and now the ecu?is blowing code 11 and 21. I am pretty sure that if something was wrong when I rewired the interior plug, it would show up right away. I am at a loss right now

NOOOO! I am seriously thinking about taking mine to a shop, it is very very fustrating. I do not have time for this crap and since I do not have the time patience and no one is responding. I am thinking this is going to be the only way to get this damn car fixed... fixed or scrapped.

Check all of you're wiring for damage. Especially the harness under the front fenders. If your car is lowered and you haven't relocated them you might have cut through some wires. Check all of your fuses and relays as well. If you're having electrical issues that's a great place to start. What all did you change when you did the swap?

Is the rotor inside the distributer hitting all the contact points?? Have you checked to make sure all your spark plug wires are in the right firing order?.....when I did my old sr20DE swap a while back I got the same codes but it turned out my distributer rotor was not making contact with the cap.

I hope you realize that the post that brought it back has to do with the same problem the op was having. So unless you have some suggestions as to how to fix it you really have no reason to post in here.

If you're not a wiring genius why even comment. If you're not going to read every post in this thread, why even comment?

I understand that you're a new guy here, so welcome. But, you need to thoroughly read shit if you don't want to get fucked w/. I clearly stated above your post that this thread is over 5 years old.

Everything posted on all forms has a date attached next to the OP's name. Pay attention to it.
