Exclamation To much smoke to see

I have a serious problem with my 91 240. The ka24e shot a rod and i took out a ka24de out of my wrecked 93. the swap went nomal until we started the car. The engine hasn't run in 3 years so a little smoke was expected. This car is burning richer than a gas can on fire. We replaced the MAF hoping it might have been damaged in the wreck. The timing is correct, the injectors, rotor button, cap, plugs and wirers are all new. This damn car still won't run well unless its at wide open throttle. It stalls after a few minutes of running and won't accelerate. There is no such thing as driving at half throttle without neck-breaking hesitation. Please some have a better idea than pushing it off a cliff.

maybe your injectors are bad? Have you removed the spark wires one at a time to see if there is a bad cylinder?

There is good fuel pressure at the rail and there is good compression on all 4 cylinders. I'm stumped so far.

still stumped

There is good fuel pressure at the rail and all 4 cylinders have good compression. I have pulled the plugs off each injector one by one to see if and injector might be stuck open from sitting for so long and not running. I stumped so far.
