s13 convertible carpet
want to replace my carpet for my vert but there are no companies that make a carpet for it.. and i know that the coupe and hatch carpets have holes for automatic seatbelts so they will not fit so nicely.
However some people say an s14 carpet can fit.. Is this true? Can anybody confirm it? Thanks! |

i used a coupe carpet in my vert. the rear humps near the rear of the center console fit.. funny... but once the seat is in you cant see anything down there anyways.
picked up a brand new aftermarket carpet for the coupe for like... $170.00. stuff is thick, and fit perfectly

from the reasearch ive done some people said they have used s14 carpets, it makes sense because it would be wide and long enough, but not sure if the molding would fit in place

vert doesnt have auto seatbelts and they dont make an aftermarket carpet for the vert. So if I order an s13 carpet it will have holes in it for the seat belts

You have one option beyond whats posted and you are going to have to deal with that. Its live with vert carpets, find good vert carpets(good luck), have some guy make you carpets, or deal with the strange fitment which honestly is one of those really small issues. If you absolutely cannot deal with two small holes near the seats that you don't see then patch the holes with scraps of other coupe/hatch carpet.
If you have read S14 carpets will fit you should give it a try and post back. The molding will be just as bad as the coupe/hatch carpets. And I hate to break it to you but the S14 carpet is going to have the holes for the lap belt.

There were NO pre-cut holes on my aftermarket coupe carpet. I used it in the vert and never even noticed or cared about those bumps behind and under the seats. Unless you are short you will never see it again!

What brand did you get? It depends on the brand if they have holes or not. I have helped three friends install carpets and brand A(can't remember name) did not have holes both times and it was cheaper. Brand B did but it was a bit more expensive.
