alright, let me make this short and sweet My S14 is pretty much still alive and rust free. I have these 2-parts foam in the car for over 3 years now, I drove in South GA torrential rain in many occasions, no problem. These are 99.9% closed cell marine grade foam, boat/yacht industry used this stuff for years. It doesn't absorb moisture, and if condensate or standing water find a way to get in there, it will evaporate out. Don't be surprise how porous steel unibody is, water will find a way in/out - QUICK!

Ever since I graduated from school, I passed my structural foam research to other undergrad lower class-man, and I have foamed at least 3 more cars since then. The most successful case was a 1986 Toyota Corolla hatchback. We turned this AE86 from a wet noodle box to something that's track-worthy. Not quite NismoZ, 370z, or S2000 stiff, but best chassis stiffnening you can do in your garage without a cage and weight penalty.

Use 2lb/ft3 density for pillars if you can. 8lb density for rocker panel.
Learn from my "mistake", 8lb density for the rockers are definitely worth it.

Thanks for chiming in man!

After getting the lower control arms project done and having my car back on the road, I will probably tackle the foam project in the spring or the fall. Just sucks that FL is so damn humid, especially where my house is, that it might affect the foam's setting.

Doubt it, low temperature has a part to play in how it sets, but high humidity shouldnt have any adverse affects. Just think of how many boats are made in florida.

The currency type (ie yen, peso, etc). 1 British pound is almost 2x our 1 USD.

should be cheaper, they didn't spend money on R&D
which is usually the most difficult step in making parts

It'll be a while though
it's an intricate part and we plan to take out time with it
more of a pet project really, since we don't foresee much demand for them
but when we have something to test you'll be one of the first people to know Jimmi

Yeah, that's cool and all but I really don't think that it would be worth it. The factory rear 5-link is pretty good, you just need to tweak the geometry a little to get it right. Now, if someone should make a front double wishbone setup...

Looks good man. You could shorten the knuckles more, but how does the tire that gets the most angle look? You don't want to overcenter your rack. Also, your steering can get really really quick.

You can push your tie rod mounting points out farther (towards your wheels) And this will help you gain angle if you keep the arm the same length, but it depends on your tie rod length and how far your rack can travel.

You have steering angle spacers for your tie rods, right? Those help a bit.

You can remove that black spacer and place it below the outter. That will allow your tie rod to sit flatter.

You can gain more angle with inner tie rod spacers.

^ I spoke with the sales rep Ben from Driftworks. Chances are they could. Problem is you might be running into understeering issues because of the imbalance of front vs rear roll center. Similar to what I had when I have the GP Sports knuckles and minor rear roll center adjustment via Moonface. Before you decide to order the knuckles wait till I install the knuckles on my car so I post up a review.

My knuckles are coming in tomorrow. Pictures of 'em soon to follow. Btw I paid about $1328 for them shipped (ow). I paid about the same for the GP Sports Hyper knuckle with a 20mm roll center adjustment spacer... Now that I think of it I hate cars... they take my money... I guess its' cheaper than having a GF. So conflicting!
