Look, who knows how I might have handled the situation. But that is not important as I am not a cop. Being a police officer is a crazy position, and only the calmest, logical, cool-headed, honest people should be elected to this position, which unfortunately is not the case.

and lets look at your 4 points lol.

1. We actually never saw the arrest of the two girls, but rather him "touchy feely" them the whole time.
2. Lol. The crowd chose to not do anything, because attacking a cop is super bad, as this girl found out. So technically, the punishment of attacking a police officer kept them at bay. If the crowd wanted to, they could have fucked up that cop any time. lol.
3. I guess he didnt use any deadly force, but why would he on two unarmed females?

Look, it breaks down to this, these cops are being shot at and killed around the country. We have these doucsh bags rioting in Oak right now and saying that cops aren't necessary and "death to all cops". I'm not going to comment on what happened on the bart but that kind of thinking is nation wide. Just look at those two fine gentlemen cops that were shot in Florida like 2 weeks ago. The guy had 40 felonies and was OUT of jail.
Basically if the cops are too gentle then they open themselves up to harm or death. Cops haveto use their OWN discretion and I completely agree with his use of force in that instance. Was she hurt? no. Did she break any bones? no. So basically he used the punch as a tool to calm the situation and it worked. Don't say "oh you can't punch a girl" because she was swinging on a COP and she jaywalked. What kind of punishment does jaywalking give? a small ticket? but now she's in MUCH deeper waters because she decided to assault the officer and she got arrested.
Everyone who thinks it was excessive needs to wipe their vaginas and try to live ONE DAY in the life as a cop.

LOL well technically he used deadly force because he socked her in the face which is a red area lol...non lethal consists of oc, taser (you were correct), and additionally baton strikes to green areas/joint manipulation. any strikes to a red area (face/head, spine, kidneys, groin, elbow, knee) are considered deadly force. deadly force consists of death OR serious bodily harm.

the only reason i made that rant was its actually something i deal with on a daily basis and it's part of my job (sorry for coming off like a know-it-all)

cop was justified though because their temper and intent showed anger and agression AND their hands were near his weapon multiple times!!!!!!!! so legally he could have jumped right to deadly force if he had wanted to. That dude kinda saved the girl in pink and got her away from the cop.So what I dont understand, is if the cop punched the other girl, why didnt he punch the girl resisting arrest, minus well right? Cuz i saw the video and it took him straight up forever to get that girl under control. Pathedically long. Any time he was struggling with that girl he could have been attacked. So why didnt he just punch her too under you people's logic.

look, being a cop is a very honorable occupation. It's not just "getting free shit at 7-11". They don't go around just fucking with people either. And look, sometimes they do seem to fuck with people, as I got hastled in the past for the car that I drove but I understand that stupid FUCKS with the same style car do do bad shit and it was my decision to modify my vehicle the way I did knowing the consequences.
I understand this is a car forum and that some kiddies feel they have been wronged by cops but I've seen a TON of bad shit for being in places I shouldn't have. I've seen 2 people killed in the San Fran area at the "local races." I've seen cars loose control and barrel into a crowd of people in Barstow. Bad things happen in places like that but I went there KNOWINGLY and cops know what type of cars go to those types of places and they'll stop people and fuck with them to deter a 18 year old with a 69 Camaro RS-SS from driving down the 15 freeway WAY too fast (why is everyone looking at me?) with a serious threat of hurting someone.
I didn't understand it until I was older and really underestimated the job of law enforcement until I did a couple ride-a-longs (which is everyone's right as an American). I encourage everyone to do the same thing because even if you respect cops now, you'll respect them more after the ride-a-longs.

that punch did the trick she stopped trying to interfere with the arrest after that,If it wasnt for the punch the girl in pink would have kept trying to stop the officer no doubt and after the punch she was gone,Id rather take that punch then to be laying on the ground with two tazer prongs stuck in my stomach.Eather way the girl has no respect for authority and had that comming and it worked like a charm.

Also relise if this was in a 3rd world country the girls woulda been billy clubbed into submission.

because yeah, thats ALL cops ever do. its not like they respond to violent crimes on a daily basis, get shot/injured at routine traffic stops because the person they are stopping is on the run, they don't deal with violent drunk people on a DAILY basis, or domestic disputes, armed fellons, etc. not too mention the long hours/night shifts away from their family... all for meager pay and disrespect from punk kids who think they are so smart and qualified to pass judgement on men with more dignity and sense of duty then they have years in puberty. grow up kid

That's the entire thing - if they wanted to, they could have. I'm certain the cop would have pulled his pistol out, but that's besdies. My point here was, he was dealing with a crowd...it's not like they said 'ok bro we're not fighting'. Good crowd control is just that - he did fine.

Why does sex make any difference? Or skin color? or Religious Background? It doesn't. It's about cop vs. civilian/suspect.

I kinda respect cops (not really), as we do need them in society. Especially the police officers that are honest. But police officers are here to enforce the law, not to be above it. And just like all human beings, there are good and bad cops. I actually knew a guy who became a cop, but quit because he was really honest and saw too much corruption. The guy is kinda weird though, like his not one of the boys.

And I'm not saying all cops are wonderful people. I'm sure some cops get off the job, go home, do some heroine and beat their wife and kids. Just like the military, however, the majority of them are good people and have good intentions but some DO become cops and join the military for the benefits they get. And, sure, cops do get treated differently outside their job but it's the same thing if you work at Carls Jr. and you go to lunch. I'm sure you could easily get a free Big Carl and no one around you will say shit. Unless it's something major, cops will look out for cops.

This. Touching a cop is just stupid. It looked to me like the two where nearly mauling him. Everything else appeared to be an officer trying to get two unruly girls under control.

As for "jay walking", hmmm.. I'd like to see a report on that. The news if foreign and the presentators attitude is clearly biased.
