Unconsistant Pulls. Help.
I need some help. I have a stock sr20det. The motor has been taken apart before to put a metal head gasket and arp head studs.
Now for the problem. The car doesnt pull the way it should everytime i get on it. My boost gauge reads stock 7psi everytime but i really feels like all that power doesnt get to motor. Somedays i race other stock sr20s, somedays i keep right up and certain other runs i get left in the dust. By a far amount. I checked for boost leaks found NONE. My car doesnt studder or anything like that. Theres no smoke coming off my exhuast so i think turbo is still good. I have no idea what the fuck can cause this. The timing has been dicked around with but it feels fine right now. I even hooked up a boost gauge to squeeze some more power and yet it still reads 7psi from the boost gauge reguardless if which way i spin the manual controller. Please give your input. thanks you
