I would like to see a video of the designer that thought this would be a good idea, explain himself.

I dont think this would actually work worth a damn.
where is the force of impact being redistributed to? There are no shocks to absorb it. Any real impact will instantly crush the blades and their support, and then rip the bumper off. Side note. Zipties arent to be a mad tyte drift yo. they are to be able to put the pieces back together quikly and to have them come off once some pressure is applied. Looks like his bumper is still hardmounted, so it will stay on a little longer on the wall, but that bumper support is going to do alot more damage to the rear of that car with that pressure. and his bumper is going to get ripped to shit instead of popping off if to much pressure gets applied. I run no bumper support so that the bumper can just pop off if i get a couple inches to deep. Those bumper supports can catch the wall and pull you straight into it. just my 2cents. |

I used to be a blader and i know some aggresive blades can withstand impossible situations like a 400 pound guy falling from a 20 story building onto a rail or onto the straight ground but even so these wheels are literally "ROLLERBLADE" speed wheels which are gay as fuck

im pretty sure its a joke...
and i like the way that modified GP bumper looks, if he were to actually fiberglass something like that i would dig. probably only on like an actual performance oriented car though...that shit would hit the ground at any respectable height. |

I like the car, i was just curious what all you guys thought of it, good colors, looks good, he is doing something diffrent and i dont think he should be scolded for trying to be inventive or trying something new, when was the last time one of you did something "different" to you car? Ill take a guess, NEVER! not saying i do different things but still dont be jerks because he is getting creative.

Funny that that car with the 4" of "shit" on it still looks better than 95% of everyone else's cars.
Its truely funny because its the damn truth. And no, "keeping it street" is not an excuse. |

This was the first car to have wheels in the bumper, and I'm pretty sure the only reason they're there is to gain publicity through people saying 'wtf' on forums, and posting pics of the car. Its actually a pretty clever idea on that front.
It seems 'how low can you go' guy has seen them and thinks they actually have a practical application

It could actually work if the rollerblade wheels hit and their friction overpowered the car's tires.
However, that would never happen. Car tires on the bumper and rollerblade wheels on the car. Problem solved.

So some tool happens to have a lot more money to spend on his car then most everyone on this site, good for him. Difference between him and the others is they're doing what they can with what they've got. He doesn't seem to need to worry about that.

I think they are made for the bumper to shoot off the car at minimal wall impact.
that or it prevents meddling kids from leaning against his car. both viable options in my book

We both know you gotta pay to play. Most owners tend to half-ass everything they do and fuck shit up along the way though. Its the trend of most 240 owners. that "battleworn" look is just too irresistable. |

seems like an interesting idea. however in real life use i very highly doubt it would disperse any of the force in a clipping of the wall. cool idea though
