I have a moroso pan on my car and love it, it used to hang kinda low with my sacked out stock motor mounts but ever since switching to drift freaq mounts it sits just above the sway bar/xmember. Welds are solid, metal is thick and I've never had issues with it trying to keep oil close to the pickup (I don't think I ever will since the thing holds 5 damn quarts of oil).

I don't have experience with canton pans on an SR20 but my dad ran one for years on his 67 mustang with a 302.. That thing cracked every damn race weekend.

I dunno man, my excessive plate is fucking beefy.

However this more to alleviate the daily driveway scraping on a cast or lower pan not a direct blow or driving over a curb; in which case you're fucked anyway.

Can attest to this, shits thicker than a bowl of oatmeal with great clearance on both pan/ground side. $90 for that much peace of mind is a steal imo

According to some people on Facebook the Canton pans can have an issue with the flange not being flat and leaking no matter how you silicone it.
