Wheel fitment issues. NEED HELP

Sorry to bug, my issue is that i bought some 18" xxr 962's and the front will not fit. the rear tires are 255 40 18 on an 18x9.5 and they didnt fit perfectly but i rolled the fenders and it solved that issue. the fronts are 245 45 18 on a 18x8.5 rim. the fronts are hitting the spring on top of the tires. so the spring rests on the tire. Any Suggestions. thanks in advance.

Holy fuck, 245/45s up front? Thats fucking huge compared to stock. Even 245/40 is still too tall...

I thought 245/45/18s were truck tires?

Get a 235/40/18 and a 15mm spacer and you should be good up front. The wheels might be too high of an offset as well, which is why I recommended the spacers.

they are actually 245 40 18. so a 235 40 18 with some spacers might do the trick

i'd like to see pictures of the wheel fitment you goin. i have the same wheels as you but still trying to figure out some tire sizes.

im also saving to buy some stance coilovers for my car so i wouldnt run into the same problem you are with the wheel touching the bottom of the spring on the fronts

what are the odds of that. I was thinking of getting the same rims but in 17s for my s14.
(17x 7 in front and 17x 9 in back. both are sold as 40mm offsets.)
in the future, i want to get BC coilovers.
I always get myself confused and twisted when thinking of offsets and then of course im concern about clearance for my future mods .
I dont think i should have much problem with regards to fender clearance on 17s
But i dont know if i'll still need spacers. any thoughts?
(were not my first choice in rims. originally wanted 5zigens but they are just out of my budget for now. hope within 4 years down the road)
