Mouse Sweat / Position and keyboard location
Hello everyone,
Id like to see what everyone is doing to control the sweat that inevitably forms from using a mouse for long periods of time. I have been using a napkin between my hand and mouse and throwing it away when done. I keep my keyboard on my lap because I havnt got a good desk. And for wrists, because of power cleans and deadlifts my wrists are thicker and more flexible than normal, but I have always had issues writing with a pencil, and I have to use a cushion to elevate my wrist when using a mouse or I get a similar feeling. I believe it is due to my retinaculum that encloses the nerves of the wrist- the nerve sheaths get slightly inflamed from rubbing. I dont use computers much anymore. I tend to avoid them these days, mainly because school takes so much time. But currently I sell items on ebay and forums so I need to check for keeping up customer service/satisfaction and communication. |

Take it easy on the mouse. It doesn't take your whole hand to control the mouse, fingertips only.

I play alot of games. Real time strategy warcraft III and starcraft II after 8-12 hours straight my hands have all kinds of bacteria waste on them, naturally. they like to eat and live anyplace they can, and salts from your hand is a great medium incubated by the hours of constantly gaming.
So they have air cooled mice? I've been using the same logitech game mouse for 8 years now. maybe its just my mouse has a little colony of it's own. I dont want to change it because I am adjusted to it, reaction time and cold sweat is everything. thats where it's at, when you feel the cold trickle down your back halfway through a match. Adrenaline going and your not even doing anything dangerous!! |
