Xterra Ring and Pinion S13 Diff

Ive been Looking into swaping an 01 Xterra V6 XE front differential Ring and Pinion to give me a 4.36 Diff Ratio. I have herd some are reverse cut gears. Is that true and what do they come in? Thanks

As far as I know all ring and pinions in the front diff are reverse cut, but the ring and pinion in the rear diffs are the same gear ration and not reverse cut

Yeah flipping a diff might sling oil instead of picking it up....

Ive been following the links below. He did a 4.6 instead of the 4.3 but im assuming he is using a front diff. He maybe wrong but it looks correct.
Can anyone shed some light on this swap and clear it up?
Thanks!

I've always heard of the front diff ring and pinions being used. First i'm hearing of any reverse cut or any associated issue using those gears.

Wouldn't using reverse cut gears make your car go really really fast backwards? Since it would be spinning the wheels the opposite way and all..

I know of at least one person who ordered a brand new xterra front diff R&P from FRSport and it was indeed reverse. They wouldn't let him return it either since it was special order. $600 down the drain.
