They are only "Runnig Lights" not fog lights. The plastic housings don't hold up well to a higher wattage fog light bulb. The lens is also not designed to provide a good beam pattern. They are just running lights.

I have the fog lights on my car, they actually go in the grill where the radiator receives air from. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

yea a pic would be much appreciated. i just like the look of foglights and dont really like aftermarket ones. id prefer getting some fogs for the pignoise bumper(which i have) but dont think they ever had any oem ones.

yea those look pretty nice, same place im planning on mounting, but no where else really to mount that woudlnt look wack. what kind of lights did u use? just some generic ones at local auto store or something? most of the time i see the blue colored ugly shaped ones for trucks n stuff.

yea, they are just the generic ones from autozone/kragen/wal-mart for lik 13.99 i believe...
brand is blazer(i think) they have different colored lenses, there's a clear, yellow, multicolored ones...it's mounted on the metal bracket of the bumper to the bumper support (so i dont have to drill any holes). |

here's mine. i'm not in canada tho. massachusetts.
i bought nokya "hyper yellow" 1156's for mine. i love em. i had the jdm chuki blinkers, but they don't mix well w/ the DRL's in my opinion. Quote:
the bulbs i got (and most other aftermarket lighting) they certainly shine brighter than any factory bulb. these driving lights with the bulbs i've got are a PERFECT execution of "fog lights", brightly lighting the road from the front bumper UP TO (and not into) the headlight cutoff. they work very well in snowy conditions, and i think they look awesome. |
