You're blaming the tires when: 1. you're running shitty shock and spring combo 2. You're running 15X6 wheels (width of wheel determines the maximum width of tire you can run) |

Before:
Perfectly clean, low mile, single adult owner car. The crash. I was an idiot and was practicing 3rd gear entry, downshift to 2nd, corner on a public road. Did it a few times, and then on the last time i came in real hot, went for the brakes too late and ended up understeering off the road into a 4ft ditch and then through a barbed wire fence. Temporary fix (hooray zipties) : Permanent fix:

IM posting here because i got it here, what the hell does a neg rep and premie love mean? i don't get that, that was the reason i got negged was premie love, wtf is that supposed to mean?
I guess thats what I get for trying to keep people from get a thread locked on the account of a bitchfest. I think they are called accidents for a reason, its not like your trying to total your crash your car on purpose. |

My crash was driver error. I'm not blaming the car. My wording was bad. My freaking out behind the wheel caused the crash. Car snapped because I countered and stepped on the brakes.
BTW Steve, these are the tires everyone else is defending: 595SS You did not have those on your front, so most likely it's that model that sucks ass for gripping. Kinda looks like this one: SS535 Whoops, this is Edgar btw. Posted under Phil's s/n by accident. Too lazy to switch accounts, hahaha. |

Toyo makes all seasons as well, you know that, right? I wouldn't say Toyo tires suck because I crashed running all seasons. Just stop. We all know you know your motor shit, but blaming a brand of tire for the compound they make for driving on city streets at 35mph is foolish. If you had Federal SS595 you wouldn't be blaming Federal, you'd be blaming yourself.

I agree, MODS should delete those few useless posts and you all should show me more battle wounds.
I want to see more of that shoelace ziptie action that BlackZenkiS14 posted. That shit looked dope as a bumper fix. STITCHES kick a$$, remember that. Last edited by Bubba; 10-06-2007 at 11:13 PM.. |

imo this thread isn't really THAT depressing. it's nice seeing how the cars were repaired. from what i can tell, most cars look better now than when they had an accident..

yeah i dont think this is a depressing thread, for me it is kind of enspiring especilly when you look at peoples rebuild stories, like look at yuri for example, how many cars has he been thru and he still has a 240? that is what this thread is about to me, pics of how you overcame the obsticle of destroying your car only to rebuild it.

Just dont have sex in your car.
everycar I have had sex in has been totalled within 2 years of sex in said car. other cars I never had sex with I just ended up parting out, or still drive etc.

Car accident pictures...
so it has been almost 2 years since my car accident, and i was just looking at old pics and thought about my accident and figured that it would be cool to share with others and see what accidents other people have had...
heres what happened with mine... 21JAN2007 so a few friends and i were going to a car show in arizona and were going down az90. there were 2 nissan sentra ser spec v's (04 and 05), my 03 350z touring, and an 06 mustang gt. the two sentra ser's were trying to see which was faster and were going down the road, and one pulled behind the other... so i took off and passed them... i was slowing down and saw this ford f250 creeping forward, so i didnt hit the brakes (i just paused waiting to see what he was going to do) [im not going to say how fast i was going]... it was almost dusk, and i thought he was just going to wait until we passed.. but at the last second he went out... i slammed on my brakes...and knew i wasnt going to stop... so at the last second i swerved to the right (right before an accident ya knwo how they say your life flashes through your head?? well i was imagining myself spinning in circles out in the desert as a result from swerving to the right).... i remember hitting the truck... and i blacked out when i hit... my roommate was in the sentra behind me and said i flipped and spun all around in the air... i took out a stop sign, and another sign, and 7 barbed wire fence poles.. i landed in a huge bush/tree thing... i woke up while i was in the bush and everything was so peaceful... my face felt wet, so i touched it and my hand got covered in blood... my rearview mirror was hanging so i tilted it towards me to look and my face was covered in blood... i didnt realize it at the time, but my door wasnt on the car anymore (as you can see from the pics)... my friend in his mustang walked up to help me out of the car and i didnt realize who it was... but he helped me out of the car and off to the side.. (my exhaust started to make the bush smoke, but didnt start a fire thank god)... one of the cops that showed up told the girls that were with us that i was going to die because they wouldnt tell him how fast we were going... one of the girls has ptsd now ... but anyways i had to be air lifted to a hospital... i just had a lacerated spleen, the scar on my forhead, and my finger has a little scar on it... no broken bones or anything serious... god was riding passenger that day... oh yea..the old guy that was driving the truck was fine, but walked up to me and said "well...thats what ya get for going 100 miles per hour" ... i didnt even know that he said that because i was in shock or whatever... anyways, the old guy was at 60% fault and i was at 40% fault because i was speeding... im just glad that no one got seriously hurt... also my friend in the mustang said that it looked like the guy was doing a u-turn because he was half in the other lane (its a long truck).... anyways here are the pics: drivers side view.. front view: i think thats the d/s door behind that wheel.... the ford f250.... the door and wheel.... passenger side front view.. inside view... god was riding passenger that day.... front view again.... i just put that greddy evott exhaust on a week before the accident 1300 down the drain back hatch/rear strut bar... it ripped the a pillar and b pillar .... can you see the ford emblem from the front of his truck in my hatch??? me in the hospital... hospital gowns are sexy lol... yea...so thats my accident.. anyone else have some to share?? |

I got one. it was about yeah and half since it happened.
I was coming home from my gf house, it was raining that night and roads were slick. the next exit I had to get off. the freeway had a slight hill then a quick right turn down hill. I had a big SUV in front of me and a old f150 behind me. I was in a 85 nissan pickup. as we're going though the down hill portion the SUV swerves like crazy and goes up on the hill and Im like WTF. next thing I see is a car in the middle of the freeway already crashed. so I apply the brakes and ca bam I t-bone the car. the car I hit was in a previous accident with a car that was on the side waiting for a towtruck. the car I hit the man had died on impact from the first accident the passenger was in critical condition. (they were from mexico...and had below the legal limit of tire thread) so I hit spin and then get hit by the f150 on the bed side. I hit the car at 55mph.... I was sore as hell for a week. the seat belt cut the my right pex. so when I flex my right booby it tucks under. : ( cant bench any more |

Taxi cab ran a red light going 45mph+ while I was making a left turn on green.
T-boned me right on the money. Walked away from it. No real injuries other than a swollen ankle(which was fine about a week later), and a teeny tiny gash on my index finger. |
