Rewiring the fuel pump?

93 chassis
Rb25DET swap

My fuel pump fuse has been blowing randomly for the past couple of months. Recently it blew so bad it burned the fusebox itself up so I had to rewire a new fuse. I also bought a new pump. With the new fuse the car worked for about 1 trip. So I swapped out the fuse again.

The car wouldn't even start and wouldn't start even after I replaced the pump. So with that out of the way all there is now is a short somewhere in the harness. My friend recommended that I simply bypass everything by rewiring the fuel pump itself.

The wires in the fuse box are brown/black I believe. And there's a brown/black wire in the harness near the pump. But I have no idea how to go about this. I'm assuming I'd need to wire the power from the fuel pump relay after the ECU. I've looked at several wire diagrams and I'm completely lost. Sorry so long, if you've read all this and have a quick fix I'd appreciate it.

The ECU trigger is a low current ground, wire should be black/pink.

Run it to the pin 85 on a Bosch 30A relay.

Pin 86 and 87 go to constant power, fused at 30A.

Pin 30 goes out to the fuel pump.

Wow you confused the hell out of me. I went looking at wire diagrams looking for pins in the ECU. Hah. When buddy stopped by and told me the same thing and said to put the relay in the trunk I understood what you meant. Thanks a lot for your help, man.
