The unit itself and about 6" of the JDM Wire harness.... re connect the USDM wire in color order and the big Blue and Black ones... thats really it.... you can also do it to where you can splice the harness and swap units at will.

Oh Yeah... I've had the JDM Visors for awhile and the Double sided tape is super stong... If you place it wrong your S.O.L.

Peace

You must have got them used then.
I hope your not driving around with just those cheesy clips, or those things are gonna fly off. The clips break pretty easily, and don't hold them that well anyway.

There's more to it than that if you want it fully functional.

They can actually be ordered at any dealer if they're willing, just depends on who it is. All you need is the part number.

anybody want to sell me two visor clips for a 180sx? mine came missing one on each side, where the a pillar starts (near the hood), so i'll need those..plus i paid the jdm tyte price.

anybody know what to use to take off old taping off my visors? i want to put fresh taping since the old one has ish all over it and wont stick good. ive tried everything i can think of, goo gone, razor, razor+goo gone, heat gun+razor. and after all that i probably only took off about 15% of it..

^ What he said. Make sure to apply and install the tape in warm weather too, anything below 70 degrees and they'll likely come off at speed. You should also clean both surfaces well with alochol to get any wax or residue off.

I lost one of my first visors that way, applying tape when it was somewhat cold out, luckily the were used and chewed up anyway. New in the box set was only $34 through YahooJP so I feel better about it now.

for as cool as they are, i really wouldnt get them for an s14 drift car. MAINLY because if you dont have a full cage, there is no where for the passenger to hold onto EXCEPT the a-pillar outside of the car. coincidentally, this is exactly where the "wind visors" aka "rain gaurds" go. anyways, thats just me.

oh, and yes, i know its dumb to hold onto the outside of the car, especially while drifting....just incase of a roll over, but I'M holding onto the wheel...so it's all on the passenger. haha

Why would you guys have passengers in the car anyway? More weight, plus you know they're going to scuff the kick panels with their shoes, and scratch the console trying to buckle the seatbelt. Other people don't seem to care about someone else's car when they're in it.

So, has anyone found a link for CHEAP S13 ones. I don't want to pay $200+ for these things.

yea, i'd love to get a passenger bucket seat BUT it makes it harder to cram 4 rims/tires in the "back seat" since the bucket wont move far enough forward to jam 'em all in. same goes for if you have a roll cage, it's still pretty hard to cram tires in the back. I can't always have my friends(the people i give the rides to) bring my tires in a truck for me. ah damn, where has drifting gone? I need to buy a truck and trailer now.

Did you? You do realize that if the pricing doesn't change from a distributer, the retail price doesn't change, right?

I know for a fact that the price that Phase 2 gets on these visors has not changed for the past 2 years. So you didn't get ripped in the ass, Courtesy just happened to get a better price on these or a price change was made at the distributer level and was not reflected in the wholesale/retail pricing.

You could have easily shopped around; Phase 2 does price matching.

Actually i got ripped off because i paid over $100 more than what coutesy is selling for. I never said it wasnt my fault. i did not know courtesy had it for so cheap, if i knew theres no way i would have got it from phase 2.

You have to understand that Phase 2 is not a Nissan dealer. They don't have the good discounts as all those online Nissan dealer. They get parts through Nissan Motorsports from Japan for 40%-50% off the retail. So you do the math.

That's kind of beating your chest about it, but I guess since you guys pay to advertise here you can do that from time to time.

As far as Phase2's prices, if there isn't a reliable source for parts most places have to buy direct just like anyone else would and mark it up to make a profit. It's only been recently that a lot of the overseas market parts have become available, so at the time when they were the only game in town $225 wasn't too bad of a price. It's not like they get a bigger cut than anyone else would get, they were just doing the legwork and getting the parts here. If you buy something for $100 and pay $50 to get it here, would you sell it for anything less than $200?
Look at Ecode lamps, before the demand came in we were looking at paying direct UK pricing plus shipping/import tax pushing them over $700 a pair. Now that a dealer network is involved the price dropped heavily. Same with anything else.

BINGO. Nice said, thank you.

We had lower some of our common SR OEM parts pricings today that are now widely available in the states as oppose to what it was back then 3 years ago. However, we still can't beat any of the Nissan dealer's pricings (i.e courtesy, performance or superior) simply being we are not Nissan dealer, even though we still price match them just to honor our customer's order from time to time.

Given by the fact some of the Nissan dealers carry some SR parts now, we still consider ourselves tailoring the most OEM SR replacement parts than any dealers so far, we are doing so just to provide the service and option for people to buy them here in the states at the time when they needed. I am actually glad more Nissan dealers are carrying these parts so in the near future we can just focus on aftermarket new products rather than getting the confusion from customers thinking we are ripping them off when the person probably bought that visor at the time when no other dealers in the USA had it.

Best Regards
