I've been trying to do some research on high horsepower SR20 motors, but have had little luck finding anything. I know that Mazworx drag s15 makes like 1300 or some huge number like that, also that JUN made 700+.

Here is what im looking for-
*What are the highest HP SR20 powered 240sx's that you know about? it can be a race car, but i would prefer street cars. Proof of any HP claims are helpful, WHP numbers would be nice too.

so lets see what you got!

P.S. if anyone knows of a place where all this info can be found feel free to say so, I've done research but its very possible that I missed something.

I'll take a stab, I know there is a guy in Utah with a SR20VET in a Z32 making 770whp @ 26psi. He hasn't big bored or stroked the motor yet.

I have a buddy here in Louisiana who has a fully built SR, with a top mount 78 setup. The head is a stage 3 Mazworx head. He's making 820 on ethanol if I'm not mistaken.

This is what the thread is for, because we all know that Rb's, JZ'z and V8's can make extremely high power, with little effort compared to the SR.

There's two Swedish big-power SR20's that I know of - one is Madtech's S14 which ran someting like 880hp before they sold it and the car just "disappeared" (haven't seen it anywhere since).

And then there's Europes fastest (or it was Europes fastest in 2010) FWD car, a 1986 Nissan Cherry Turbo - aka HotWok - 915 HP.

uhhh its going to cost more to buy, build, and put in one of those other motors, its not cheaper, but you will make more horsepower. but again, not the point of this thread

Some of you might have seen the Castrol Syntec sr20det on import tuner/Top Shop tv challenge. 867 crank hp.

Mazworx s14 made 1000, so did hybrid dynamics s13.

I would like to see what my car does on c16 - but i drive it every day its dry - and i am too lazy to change stuff. Maybe I'll put the meth back on it.

I have an old option magazine somewhere with a couple pages on high hp SRs. I'll have to find it, I think some of the guys were in the 800s
