S14 Antenna Removal
I'm trying to remove my non-power antenna assembly from my car to shave it off.
I've unbolted it from the body from inside the truck and removed that bolt. And it seems that it is being held on by something else and I can't get it out. If anyone can help me with pics that would be great |

Okay, This is how the S13 works, don't know if the S14 is different in design. I'll try to describe it as much as possible, but without pics it may be hard...
On the part of the antenna outside of the car the black ring around the base of the antenna that has two little slits in it unscrews. I used a set of really thin needle nose pliers. Unscrew that and that will let you remove the black base of the antenna as well. Then you remove the two interior bolts, pull the antenna off of the support, (there's a little tooth that it hangs on) and drop it down. Then you should be able to unplug it and pull it out from inside the trunk. Sorry if it's unclear or if it's a different process for S14's. Hope this helps.

It's the same. Remove the top ring, unbolt the bracket, it falls right out.
