S13 DCC motor mounting help
Anyone happen to have a picture of how they have their S13 JDM DCC motor installed?
I have an idea of where to install it but there is already a motor in that position. All the broken links and videos I have watched don't mention anything about the USDM motor that sits in that position. The picture are of my USDM header core box. As you can see I have already swapped over the JDM actuator rod connector. Thank you! |

I don't have any pics of mine, but I'm pretty sure that motor on yours is the Max Cold actuator. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain that gets removed if your car has it. Mine didn't have that motor and everything works great with the JDM one installed only.

Yea I'm hesitant to remove it because of that extra door it controls. |

All the guides I've read have advised to remove the motor and keep the relay plugged in. I really don't see how you can do the DCC with it in place. I would remove it for sure. Good luck with it!
