anyone know any good places that i can get a tranny with about 25k milels max on it, cause my 240 is auto and it is a 89(ka24e woo woo, poweer house, at a whopping 145 bhp)
i need it soon, and as far as install, i got it covered...

P.S. Nissan Motors wants 4k for a brand new kit, errr

keep an eye out at www.thepartstrader.com.  and maybe www.junkyarddog.com.  I'm pretty sure that's the site.  other people can give you other places to look as well.  I don't know many places to find tranny's so that's all I could think of for now.

i have a 89 240sx that i just bought and i want to convert it from automatic to manual, what exactly do i have do? (parts, cost...etc) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?

well, my friend... you have to get th transmission, clutch, flywheel, slave/master clutch cylinders, clutch pedal assembly kit, shifter, shift boot, shift knob, and a new center counsole, &nbsp;your lookin at about nissan OEM 4k$
aftermarket/used $1,400

thats what i have to do although i have alot of hookups so im gettin taht whole kit PLUS a sr20det motor with turbo, intercooler, everything needed for that also... for 2K

Havent done it yet, but Im parting out all the tranny/clutch,etc. &nbsp;parts from my '95 SE w/ only about 36k miles on it. It has a brand new ACT clutch that I put on just a little before I got in an accident. Dont know if you could use them in your s13.
Anyone know if itd work to use an s14 tranny in an s13 easily?
