The ccw guy hid behind the pillar waiting for an opportunity to draw. I would prefer that opportunity come after 10 shots than 30. Fortunately the shooters gun jammed before he could kill more people.

If you where referring to the cool off period argument ill have to get back to because admittedly some quick searching is proving a little flimsy.

If you ban hi cap magazines, then you should also make it illegal to have some kind of vest that allows for quick access to the magazines, a jam takes longer to fix than a mag swap. But they don't just put them on vests, they put them in pockets too, so make pockets illegal because magazines could be stored in them. Might as well give a legal limit to the number of magazines someone can have on them at this point, that way these criminals never would of had enough bullets to hurt so many people...

I think it is funny when people get so worked up by their emotions over guns when a tragedy happens, but they weren't doing anything about them before hand. Our politicians should not be making emotionally charged decisions about anything, they need to step back and figure out the true root of the problem. In this case, would any of the gun laws proposed recently have helped this situation at all? Will making magazine size smaller do anything at all? (think about the stockpile of all the magazines which are 'high cap')

I don't think it's the politicians getting worked up as them climbing on the bodies of the victims, using them as their soap box to push their agenda. You don't hear anything about it before the tragedy because they've been beaten into submission by logic, and know they have no ground to stand on (except the sheeple's emotions following a tragedy)

But it servers their own agenda, especially when it takes heat off unemployment, government spending, the budget, terrorist attacks ect.

This is not a gun issue but a mental health one, and it's not about our society going to hell in a hand bag. We've had "crazies" for centuries - everything from HInckley to Charles Whitman (Bell towner shooter '63).

We can't predict and know everything, but the scary thing about these recent shootings is the fact that EVERYONE KNEW THE SHOOTER WAS CRAZY. By that, I mean the people in the shooters daily life realized "Something was off".

I don't have any answers, but that is where the debate, research and focus should be. What does society do when they say "this guy is weird"....

Find a local dealer that will let you use their FFL and won't rape you on the paperwork charge first.

gun-deals.com - User-Submitted Gun & Ammunition Deals

Almost always better to buy online. Don't pay more then $25 for a transfer fee.

Send a message via AIM to BlackZenkiS14
Got my new gun build finishing up this week.

Black Rain Ordnance upper and lower receivers, billet machined in MO.
7" threaded barrel
Spikes BAR hand guard
Magpil MOE grip
Dpms lpk
Cmmg 9mm bolt
KNS anti rotation pins
Spikes pistol buffer tube
Colt heavy 5.6oz buffer
Noveske kx3

I'll get some pics up next week when it's finished assembly, and when the heat cools down. Not real excited about posting up pictures of a short barreled assault rifle on Facebook right now, until it all cools down.

I put my S&W AR15 on armslist.com last night and it sold within an hour for $100 more than I paid for it. I had 20 emails about it in the hour it was listed. People are definitely freaking out.

Soooo, after ordering ten of the thirty round Magpul Pmags from Brownells I called yesterday to find out why my order hasn't arrived in the mail. The woman on the phone says "well which order are you trying to track", I tell her I only placed one order last week. She says "No you placed one on line and one over the phone, let me pull up the info"

Evidently when I was trying to order my 10 Pmags online the order went thru when it kept kicking the order back saying I was missing information on the form when I wasn't. So I picked up the phone and placed the order instead. . . BOTH orders went thru. So now I have 20 Pmags coming and it couldn't have been a better accidental order at a better time. All the places I've called are out of stock, every sporting goods store I've been to it out of stock. . . it's getting stupid.

What is the reason behind owning soo many magazines? I mean besides having them preloaded for the shooting range. In what other (civilian) situation will you need soo many? I've always wondered.

Edit,...which is fine, as long as thats the answer and nothing crazy like z day prepping. Which reminds me, I can't believe the market for zombie marketed products. $50 difference between an eotech and eotech's zombie version of, which is nothing more than a radiation symbol on the side.

Why does a non-profesional racer need more then 80 horse power in his car?

So because there are street racers and drunk drivers - should none of us be allowed to own cars?

Don't be dumb - video clearly shows some sort of auto-shotgun. That is not an AR, even the people in the thread agree.

Auto- as in automatically loading. IE: not-pump.

I think you're are the one that needs education.

Benelli M3 - no pumping required. $1,500

Preloading them for the shooting range is a great reason, nobody wants to waste time when they charge by the hour for a lane.

Ha, I am not moving because of shooting, just giving a scenario. There are outdoor ranges, just not as fun when it is below freezing out
