Ruckus-Racing 1jz/2jz mounts 240sx

Ruckus-Racing
s13/s14
1jz/2jz swap mounts
these are our very own 1jzgte/2jzgte swap mounts for the s13 and s14240sx chassis. Our mount kit sets the engine as far back in the engine bay asa we could fit it without losing use of the heat core. Also we set the engine as low as possible for good hood clearance. We have made this kit to allow you to use your original 240sx rubber mounts. The transmission crossmember is made to use the R154 transmission. This kit includes two engine mounts, one transmission crossmember, and sway bar spacers(only needed in certain cases). Also drive shafts and wiring harness services are available upon request. The kit is made from high grade mild steel. 100% tig welded. We offer a limited lifetime warranty. dealer inquiries welcome.

Excellent!! Easy & cheap 1JZ mounting for S chassis! Please post basic price guidelines for wiring and driveshafts (with and without core exchange, if possible) so window shoppers can get an idea of what a 1JZ/2JZ swap will cost.

ok here you go.

wiring s13/s14 currently we do not offer A/C but we are working on it. but the price without A/C is $300.00 with a rough 2 week turn around time. with A/C when we get it all tested. it will be $350.00. this will get the car running. It does not include the adapters for the speedo or tach if you want them included its like around $140.00 for the two. check ebay to make sure.

driveshafts are $450.00 (best we can do). it is a one piece steel shaft with heavy duty yolks. holds upwards of 800hp. Thats what our supplier told me.

any other questions just let me know.

also we are working on a shifter extension should have it up for sale in about a week

Hmm.. interesting. Do you have any pictures of a 2JZ installed on a S14 using your kit to show how the 2jz sits with this setup? Very interested waiting on feedback and pictures.

have you solved the issues other companies are having with the speedometer? After installing my 2jz we cannot get the speedo to work? Does your 2jz swap have the working speedo?

Wiring will not be sold without 100% test. That is why a/c isnt a current option. I can easily make it work but I want it to work just like the factory does ie you hit the button idle jumps up, you go wot, a/c shuts off. I like to make 100% sure of something before I mention it. On paper everything is easy. Just like anyone with a romulator and live edit can tune. The exact devices to use will be listed with your harness or you can buy them from rucas if you don't mind paying a little extra for convience. THe harness will also come 100% in tact. there will only be clearly labled wires for installing the speedo and tach boxes. All wires will be loomed and plug into your car just like factory as long as the 240 harnesses you send in fit your car ie dont send an 89 auto harness if you own a 93 5 speed. Just like any company you will be charged for missing plugs, but fairly. You are missing a tps plug, you will not be charged $100. harness being hacked in half is another story, but I think that goes without saying.

This is Autotroniks posting under slw240sx's name.

Unfortunatly I can not release all of the work I have done for the harness.I found too many inconsistencies in writeups, so I did my own with schematics, the car and the harnesses. If you are good at wiring you can figure it out. I will say toyota and nissan do some things differently so you REALLY need to take circuit currents into account. If you buy the Ruckus/Autotroniks harness you will only need to know how to plug in a harness, turn a screwdriver to install the converters and get power to the starter. I highly suggest running a battery relocation and having the positive come through the firewall on the drivers side. I will work to accommodate any other battery setups. I also suggest in any walbro install running a dedicated relay and 12awg power straight from the battery. If desired I will offer this as an add on to the kit with the low current feed already coming out to run to the rear, relay, socket, and power wire. field any inquiries to cody and I will do my best to give you a clear answer. The harness will only be available int he non a/c variant for the next couple of weeks. Cost will be $300. You will need to send us your 240 upper and lower engine harnesses and your 1j harness. Make sure you have your 4th ecu plug for the 1j as it isnt attached to the main harness. I can source these if necessary. You will also need to buy the dakota boxes. these will be less than $200. As cody has said he has found them as low as $70 each. The harness will include part numbers and specific instructions.

Joel

There is pretty good alternative. The parts are available special order from Carson Toyota for a total of $76 Your best bet is to stock these so folks can get them right away. I would pay an extra $30 just for the convenience.
here they are one more time:

$60 - Housing, Shifter (33521-24040)
$16 - Control Shift Lever (33570-24010)
