Hey zilvanians, quick question. My buddies bought a welded diff for his s14. They dummy bought a s13 diff. The question is can the internals from the welded s13 fit into his s14 open diff? What would have to be changed if so? Or is he screwed and has to weld a new diff? Thanks ahead guys

just swap the back cover and it should be good, no need to swap internals

first off, I'll spoon feed the answer to you as everyone else will bash you for not searching.

your problem is an easy fix.

all you need to do is use a s14 diff cover (2 bolts) on the s13 differential, which is a direct bolt-on since the s13 diff cover has 4bolts.

Next time take some initiative to search!!

All the bolts line up? It was still on the car but I thought they looked a little different but it just could be me..lol

yes, all 8 bolts on the diff cover will line up!
