4 inch down pipe?

ok have asked around and am not really getting a clear answer so i will try here.

Looking to do a 4 inch down pipe on my setup wanna know will this fit, starting from the turbo? I know ounce i go under the car it will fit but mainly in the engine bay is my concern.

This of course is a SR and its in a s13 chassis.

if anyone has done this and has pics please post them up. would like to see how it looks.

Not worth the hassle of getting it to fit. At least not if your going for 3 digit horsepower figures.

No he meant like 3 digits. That could be anywhere from 100-999.

Basically it's pointless to run a 4in downpipe if you're looking for something in the 3-digit range.

a 4" down pipe would be perfect for a rb, or 1j or 2j with a MASSIVE turbo, but on a sr, 3" is more than enough, now if your sr was complletely built stroked to a 2.2 with cams, and a full fuel system 720cc injectors+ pushed by a t61 then maybe, and this is almost a drag setup to utilize a full 4" exhaust, but ifyour thinking a 4" down pipe to a 3" exhaust system, again all not worth , spend you money and upgrade something else

My buddy has a 4inch dp on his cefiro, but he also has a rb20det with a holset HE351 turbo off a cummins diesel motor...

I dont see any benifit of this on a sr20det, spend the money elsewhere....

Are you worried about the flow restriction from a 3'' downpipe? Do you have 4'' exhaust from the downpipe back?
