1. Try searching or get a FSM, both are great tools when repairing your car.

Hey Guys,
Yes...The psrty is still happening, and anyone is welcome to come...just find me at DD6 and I'll give you directions.

My friend Laura and I are going to buy cute decorations, so the party should be fun since decorations=fun!

Other than that...I think I'm going to make the special jello...I like cherry..does anyone else have a favorite flavor?

Let me know if you guys have any ideas that could make it a happening party.

hmmmm...Maybe I should wear a name tag at DD6, that way people will know it's me! I am going to make a costco trip before the party, but it would be nice if people were willing to contribute. so...you can bring something to share, or pitch in a few bucks. Either of those would be greatly appreciated

I have a feeling that not many people are going to want to bring food and drinks, so I'm hoping that everyone can just kick down some cash. BUT...if you want to bring drinks, or food, please do so.

I'm thinking that there will be anywhere from 50-120 people. I already know about 40 who promissed to come, and that doesn't include any DD6 people. Just remember to bring a sleeping bag if you plan on crashing at my house. There will be tons of floor space since I am moving out and have barely any furniture left. (Which means there better be people willing to dance )

Can't wait for this weekend.

I commend you for taking the brunt of the responsibility here and throwing a party. I just had a question about the event itself. My friends went to the last DD event and while they got there early, many others were not allowed in due to space/safety constraints. I know this will probably be true of DD6 (as explained on their webpage about spectators).

So what will happen if a large group of us, especially since many of us who have posted on this thread didn't want/get a chance to register for this event show up later? I for one, have intentions of spectating but for some of us who want to come later -- we might rejected at the front gate, how do we find you? Will you be outside for a bit after the event to give directions? (If anyone else knows, I'm looking at Dousan here --- do they let everyone into the event after its over?)

I'd hate to show up a little later (9 am) only to be rejected at the front gate cuz I dont' want to wait outside for 8 hrs.

If anyone can suggest a way to have information available at the event, post it here.

for you or some of your friends who didn't get a chance to register, i have a spot open. i am currently signed up to drive for DD6, but i've come down with the flu, and i don't know if i'll be okay to drive this weekend. ): since i'm allowed to transfer my spot to someone else, would anyone be interested? the registration was $100. email me if you're (or any of your friends) would be interested! hey georgia, maybe you can list some stuff people can do if they aren't allowed in to spectate at the event, and have to wait until the event's over for your party.

in any case, i'll still be there to take footage of people, so maybe i'll be free to run around and inform people about things. (= i'd be glad to be of help to anyone.

U should make directions on your computer to ur house and make tons of copies to hand out at DD6. Then go ask the event coordinator to announce your party at the driver's meeting! That's a sure way to make sure you get a good turn out.

Not to worry...I promise to get everyone directions to my house who wants to come to my party. I'll be there with a few friends, so if I'm not able to pass out directions to everyone, (including those outside the gate) I'll make sure to get one of them to hand them out.

Janet- I'm so bummed that you're ill. Now I might be the only girl representing, and that's so sad.(especially since I'm sure you're good by now, and I suck since I have barely done any drifting) You HAVE to get better! But you better at least come to my party.
