I've got the MR4TC and the DP. I'm just gonna start fresh tho.

We used to be a big forum and ran races all over San Diego County. Basically pulled the plug on it because we were taken for granted and our momentum died big time when SDRC opened up. All the shit talking and criticism really killed the fun and motivation to keep going. Its funny, I come across comments every so often saying that they miss socal-rc.com and the races we used to run. People really dont know what they had until its gone. Who knows how the San Diego RC car racing scene wouldve been like if my buddies forum never started. So for those who remember socal-rc.com and wonder what happened. There's your answer ^

No one should kill your fun in what ever you're doing.
When ever someone asks why I spend so much money on my hobbies, I simply say because I want to and continue. So if I was in that position, I would start the forum back up and heavily moderate it because it's better to have 30 true and mature members than 100 with 70% of them being young jack azzes.

^thats how it is I think with everything Rc related lol... We have a good core group of guys in the RWD game but it always ends up being a competition between everyone. It's fun and cool to take things serious, but then drama gets thrown into the mix. Sucks but oh well. Weeds out the true enthusiast and peeps who are just doing it to be good at something. We got drama at our local track which I continue to support. Without Hobbytown we would not have an indoor track. But peeps are just talk most of the time. I'll keep enjoying myself and contrinue to push the jdm feel of Rc drift to new comers and people i see have a passion to grow with the hobby.

On a budget... Sprint 2? Kinda limits you on how far you can go with mods.

Mst fxx (plastic version) or yokomo yd2. Best in the market considering upgrades and prices and quality. I've been sticking to mst because of quality and there R&D and continue to develops new products and upgrades for all of their chassis. Expensive upgrades, but only a few needed, the rest is just personal preference

Just the thing is its the cheapest one with carbon and aluminum because the mst vip is 700+ for the same kinda thing or its 150 for the all plastic one and another 100 for the carbon chassis plate. So

All that aluminum and carbon fiber is kind of unecessary. With the mst all you need is the plastic version and like 3-4 upgrades and that's all you need. I've ran that mst fxx chassis for months. All I upgraded was the adjustable links all around, toe links, and upgraded wipers arms
