Stock S14 bolts too short for SPL rear arms

Bought all SPL rear arms for my S14 but can't install them because the stock mounting bolts are too short. The mounting flanges for the new arms are thicker than the flimsy stock arms. That added thickness of the SPL flanges makes the stock bolts too short.

I haven't read about anyone having this problem before and it didn't mention anything in the SPL directions. The arms all fit in place so it doesn't seem like it was mispackaged for a different vehicle.

Anyone ever deal with this? My SPL arms are the updated square tubing style

Thanks!
