this entire thread makes me both sad and optimistic. sad that collectively your engine's net worth is more than what i've made in my life. and optimistic that one day i'll be rocking hardcore parts and overall cleanliness as this. beautiful car. can't wait to get my hands on a clean shell. kudos on the WHOLE thing. regardless of tastes, i've felt if the s15 should go on ANY USDM nissan it's the s14's. overall this thing is hands DOWN one of the most remarkable machines i've seen in a while. great job. i'd be interested to see some of your other projects and dailies too! lol can't imagine anything being cleaner or as clean as this.

Thanks for the comments, as for the rear fenders..........While not hugely my tastes I got tired of the same old 240sx and wanted something different to set me apart for all the other 240sx. while its not for everyone, Its not supposed to be. I have this car, another S14 w/S14 sr, "04 350Z and a winter car which is a cube. as for the haters.....its all cool there are things I hate too/ just peoples natures I guess. for work I work on cars for a living and get to do things everyday in which I love. everyone should be so lucky. on the car note.....switched to a single bosch 044 pump (liking how the decal turned out)

looks like im getting the car dynoed after the 1st of the year, always good having friends with enclosed trailers. Videos will be up!

No, they are cut out and pushed out that far. then made a inner wheel well. there isnt any dived part.

And yeah, that decal turned out really well, its the little touches that set something apart

To create the plate, you will certainly need to make it removable. Simply 'welding' them shut with a plate will melt/ruin them.

Why not press aluminum bushings into the injector bosses instead? Then use an appropriately sized injector o-ring.

where did what pictures go? also my set up works great, guess the greddy version. 2 manifold had fixed this problem.

touge, have you had any experiece with tomeis "M" series turbo line? im lookin at purchaseing one with tax return. Also just lookin for advice on exhauset mani's, i have the megan unit and i was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to the tomei unit. i like the fact it has a twinscroll style setup, but im wondering if that will even make a difference with out a twin scroll turbo.

lastly nice build..im currently chasing an electrical problem...hopeing i can get her ready by summer time and start getting to some meets...lol.

alright I read through the thread untill page 7 ( will finish reading after dinner )

I have to say, I love the route your going with this build. S14.5 with a built motor and one day shiny paint ? even with the flat black it looks alright in the pics, in person maybe different but we all don't live in your neighbor to swing by check it out.

Keep up the good work, and I want to add a +1 to the metallic blue paint please

The M7960 is for basically a built sr20, the M8270 is for their 2.2 engines. you get fast spool. the tomei manifold is worth it. unless the price skyrocket like HKS or Greddy. personally I would get a Garrett GT2871 (To4E housing with .86 ar) for a stock/built engine. GT2876 if you have/do a built one and increase the bore of the pistons and compression. its what I just to run when the engine was stockish and put down 400+ with just 850cc and a PFC tune. I dont know about your set up all to well. message me and Ill at least tell you what I did before and tell me about the wiring.

I ended up keeping it flat (least the proper flat) until next year, going to fix the fenders and install the pace pak gauge cluster, sparco evo XL and finish the custom cage. then repaint. got some fun things lined up this year

Thanks, I always do my own thing. who wants two cars to look the same? its hard standing out in a sea of S-chassis cars. even at shows with the hood popped they all look the same. its the little things the make your car stand out.

I wanted the ability to quickly adapt to a larger injector in the case I went that direction. When I did that, cheap pencil style large CC injectors didn't exist like they do today, so I wanted backwards compatability in the event I went back to a MSD/Rochester style injector 'fat body' injector.

for its finally dyno'd and its done for both high and low boost. its not too aggressive as I wanted something perfect for road courses.

Only things that are left are the gussted roll cage, my sparco seat install and harnesses. might also do a 350z 6speed trans swap.

there still is a lot of room left for more power, and I can always go to a bigger turbo. but this car is a blast to drive.
